This type of battery has a high energy density, high efficiency of charge/discharge (89–92%) and long cycle life, and is fabricated from inexpensive materials. However, because of the operating temperatures of 300 to 350 °C and the highly corrosive nature of the sodium polysulfides, such cells are primarily suitable for large-scale non-mobile applications such as grid energy storage. The technology is not efficient enough to handle all of the demands that a liquid battery would have to go through in order to be used in a flexible cell phone. There are certain properties that change when the liquid battery is put under certain condition. The technology is just not technical enough enough to handle the high demands of a flexible cell phon. I don't believe it will be in the next 5 years. I would say maybe in the next 10 years. Engineering Student.
