We haven't heard of anything from Haier Mobile lately and started to get worried. Well, they've just officially introduced, for the American market, its new tiny mobile phone Haier Black Pearl. It has rounded edges and glossy coating. This isn’t a very slim, but unusually narrow phone – 90x35x17.8 mm.
It is equipped with an integrated MP3-player, an FM-radio and a voice recorder. It carries 128 MB of memory onboard, besides there is a microSD slot (up to 1 GB). The Black Pearl supports Bluetooth and USB interfaces, SMS, EMS, 64-tones polyphony. Its LCD isn’t big, a 1.8†diagonal, 96x96 pixels, made under OLED technology.
Haier Black Pearl is one of the smallest phones, it weighs just 60 g. It is equipped with an 830 mAh battery ensuring over 200 hours standby, 3 hours of talks or 11 hours of continuous use.
Motorola today announced its newest handset, the MOTOSLVR L7e. In addition to a makeover with a new metallic blue finish, enhanced multimedia functions and high-speed data access, the slim candybar also comes with upgraded features.
The Motorola SLVR L7e is a quad-band phone and it comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and full screen viewing, full screen video capture with 4x digital zoom and video playback, music player with MP3, AAC, AAC+ and ACC+ Enhanced support, 20MB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot for up to 2GB of memory, Bluetooth, Instant Messaging and EDGE.
The MOTOSLVR L7e is expected to ship in the second half of 2006. Price was not disclosed.
Samsung announced their full Le Fleur series, which represents a stylish trio of elegant mobiles targeted specifically at women. The three handsets are the new Samsung E570 and Samsung E420, as well as the Samsung E500 which is already officially released. The Le Fleur series is a continuation of the Samsung concept that a woman should have an expressive, feminine mobile to suit her style. This concept was born back in the day with the first feminine mobile Samsung A400, and later on revived with Samsung E530, Samsung E410, Samsung T500 among others.

The Jasper S20 Java Phone is manufactured by Group Sense Limited of Hong Kong and will first ship to Asia’s market soon. It has a 1.3MP camera and can be connected to your PC via the mini USB connector. Its built in application is good enough for most of the IM communication and its media player support various media files like MP3 and MPEG clips.
