A million iPhones sold
Posted by: Vlad Balan in Apple
Apple finally reached its 1 millionth sold mark, which means 13,500+ iPhones sold each day, thus 1 million phones in 74 days. A million phones at the lower 4 GB price still means $400 million in sales to a max of $700 million, that is quite impressive for the company.
Still, Apple is 9 million phones short of reaching its goal of 10 million units sold by next July. The price cut will help the company to make their goal possible, but these sales could eat into iPod sales over the holidays.
