Aino, a new Sony Ericsson slider

Sony Ericsson has just launched two new devices in the market, both of them being multimedia cell phones equipped with advanced cameras, even if they’re not part of the Cyber-shot range of products. The two phones are called Aino and Yaro, but this time we’ll be talking about the first one, leaving Yaro for another occasion.

So, let’s see if there is something about this phone that is special enough in order to take it into consideration.

First of all, there are two Sony Ericsson services, which are both brand new, called Remote Play, which gives the user the chance to “control your Playstation and access its media content on your Aino anywhere”, being designed for the PSP, at first, and the Media Home, which is an application that is based on the Media Go, from where it takes the media content in order to show it to the user.

The phone measures 104 x 50 x 15.5 millimeters and weighs no more than 134 grams. The battery of the Sony Ericsson Aino provides up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 380 hours of stand-by time (on GSM), approximately 4.5 hours of talk time and 367 hours of stand-by time (on UMTS), up to 1 hour and 40 minutes of video talk time and 31 hours of music playback time.

This new Sony Ericsson slider is expected to become available in two color versions, Obsidian Black and Luminous White, starting the last quarter of this year.
