An LG clamshell phone for the Rogers Wireless’s customers


Rogers Wireless, Canada’s largest wireless provider, has just made an announcement, concerning the introduction of a brand new LG clamshell phone to its lineup. The device is known under the name of Globus TU330.

The flip phone is aimed at Canadian people who are very conscious about the way their budget changes during a month, being a basic phone.

The Globus TU330 comes equipped with the following features: an internal display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, an external one, which is a little bit smaller, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a VGA camera placed on the front of the flip phone aimed at video calls, 3G connectivity (tri band HSDPA, 850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz), quad band GSM / EDGE connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), Stereo Bluetooth, an internal memory of 128 MB and a microSD card slot for expandable memory of no more than 4 GB.



In addition, the phone is provided with support for some services such as MusicStore, Radio on Demand and Video on Demand.

If you are interested in the LG TU330, you can purchase it via Rogers Wireless for only $29.99, but watch out! The LG clamshell phone is available under this price only if it is bought with a contract agreement signed by the customer for three years. If you aren’t willing to do this, you can buy it free of contract for $179.99.
