BlackBerry Gets ColorWare Custom Paint Job

ColorWare Inc. has started its activity in the color altering for different electronic products in 2000, and has become a leader in the industry being recognized for its high-quality gloss and scratch-resistant polymer-based coatings.

Starting with December 31, the company is offering its services to Blackberry’s owners, changing the look of three models: Curve, Pearl, and 8800.

ColorWare is the only company that uses the X2 Coating technology, which is a scratch-resistant liquid plastic coating that protects the device and is capable to block 99.8% of the UV rays.
This way, the colors don’t fade under direct sun light.

BlackBerry Gets ColorWare Custom Paint JobThe process involves adding a substrate, the proprietary priming formula, the proprietary color formula and at the end comes the X2 liquid plastic coating.
Electronic devices that use this technology from ColorWare include laptops, phones and even the famous iPhone.
