Posted by: Sierra in AT&T, Samsung

Those of you that have a Samsung BlackJack from AT&T and live in the US can now upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 via the online downloading service from Samsung.
Advancing from Windows Mobile 5 to the 6th version of the popular operating system will bring more powerful applications for a powerful handset like BlackJack including keeping records of your contacts in Outlook Mobile, browse the Internet and writing documents in Word and Excel in order to view and analyze them with PowerPoint.
With this upgrade BlackJack's user will get support for HTML e-mail formats to be able to send messages with links, images and symbols, while having access to entertainment features and powerful business applications boosted up by the 3G BroadbandConnect network.
Other features include an MP3 player, a built-in 1,3MP camera with video recording capability and the stereo Bluetooth support for headsets.
"AT&T customers continue to love the BlackJack and the availability of Windows Mobile 6 capabilities presents them with a winning combination that brings the BlackJack to new heights in terms of functionality," declared Michael Woodward, AT&T vice president, Business Voice/Data and Mobility Products. "It's a great enhancement to AT&T's industry leading Windows Mobile device portfolio."
