C3310, a new Samsung slider phone

It’s weekend. Maybe you’re not in the mood for the nonsense the Internet is permanently offering to you. Maybe all you need is to detach yourself from the virtual world and the virtual community that seems to swallow you in the blink of an eye.

Even if the situation is the way I just described it, I have nothing else to do but to tell you about a new device that is prepared to enter the market. The Samsung C3310, a new Samsung slider phone that is said to hit the Chinese market, via China Mobile, and then the European one.

The cell phone is far from being an exceptional handset, being quite simple, from many points of view. What turns the device into a entry level one is the design, which is, as I said before, simple, but also the list of features it is equipped with. Nevertheless, if you’re one of those who don’t need sophisticated cell phones, encrusted with small precious stones, then you’ll be happy to know that the Samsung C3310 is just what the doctor ordered.

The features you can find on board include the following: quad band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with EDGE, a display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and 262K colors, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, MP3 player (thank God for this one, right?), FM radio and microSD card slot for expandable memory. The phone measures 99.9 x 48.5 x 13.8 millimeters and weighs no more than 93 grams.

We don’t know when this Samsung slider phone will hit the market, but we know it will be available in three color versions: black, silver and blue, and with a price of approximately 110 Euros (meaning $150).
