iPhone Vs BlackBerry
Posted by: CameraPhonesPlaza in BlackBerry
One thing is certain: BlackBerry devices are aimed at business users and they are the best you can have at handling messaging and e-mailing. But the iPhone is an all-round smartphone that can fit in any situation, even in business. So which is better when it comes to the iPhone vs. BlackBerry matter? Whenever Apple announces a new mobile phone release, most of the manufacturers and even especially users, just stand and wait quietly to see with what miracles the new iPhone impress with.

But BlackBerry is not the company to hold back and just hope that its users will still be faithful to it. The company succeeded in releasing some of the best messaging mobile phones and some smartphones as well, Storm and Torch, with touch screens and the classic ones with the physical QWERTY keyboard.

If you configure the phones properly and you see the security system as it should, both devices are suitable for business use. BlackBerry devices are indeed the most used ones by corporate users, as they provide solid solutions and the ability to restore devices, configure, they are more flexible and thus more complex. What makes the phones stand out is the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, making it possible to receive corporate e-mail in real time. Without it, BlackBerry phones offer little personal features. The iPhone has security features, but not the perfect ones. Apple lacks the ability to remotely provision, to make devices stronger and to configure them. But let’s take the iPhone 4 and BlackBerry Torch and see how they come up in front of one another. The operating systems are totally different and this is the first thing noticeable. iPhone 4 uses iOS 4 and Torch uses BlackBerry OS 6. The iPhone’s OS has received a lot of good reviews and everyone loves the interface, the features and widgets, but it had some issues with the security features. BlackBerry OS 6 keeps the strong messaging and productivity benefits everyone admires, but also adds social networking and multimedia features, to attract non-business users as well. But the simple user, the one oriented towards everyday use, will surely go for the simplicity of the iPhone and not the sophisticated look of BlackBerry 6. BlackBerry Torch comes with an advantage: the sliding QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen, a great combination for those who want to take advantage of the innovative displays, but still want to type comfortably at a physical keyboard. The WebKit browser on the BlackBerry has been tested and it is faster than the one on the iPhone, so the browsing experience is another plus for the business company.

When it comes to internal features, they are mostly the same; both come with Wi-Fi, GPS and they both have an application store, from where you can download great applications, games, themes and other productivity tools to enhance your mobile phone. But the display quality is better on the iPhone 4 and also the processor is faster, providing a snappy and responsive experience. To sum up, BlackBerry tries to level up competition, but if you look at this point, it doesn’t bring something out of the ordinary. The phones will still attract business users and the iPhone is the most used and better sold device.
