LG CU400 available with Cingular

LG CU400 PhoneStarting on Tuesday, Cingular began offering LG CU400, the 3G Internet and video phone. This CU400 is the first phone from Cingular that support a push-to-talk function allowing you to speak with up to 30 people.

The phone also supports the ultra fast UMTS data transmission and with Cingular video service, you can watch video, TV, news, and more. The phone comes with 4x zoom & video VGA camera, Bluetooth, MPEG4 and RealVideo support, MobiTV & MobiRadio, Quad-band world phone with domestic UMTS, and more. The LG CU400 is now available from Cingular for $230 at retail or $30 with a two-year agreement plan.

Cingular launches the BlackBerry Pearl

After being released by T-Mobile USA on September 12, it's now Cingular's turn to finally launch the BlackBerry Pearl.

The BlackBerry Pearl comes equipped with a 65k color display (240x260 pixels), a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, Media player with MP3, AAC, MPEG-4 support, 64MB memory, Push to Talk, Trackball, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD card slot and SureType keyboard.

Cingular is selling the BlackBerry Pearl for $199.99 with a $50.00 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract.

Cingular to release the Palm Treo 680 on Nov 24th

Cingular announced the release of the low-cost Palm Treo 680. The Treo 680 is aimed at business users and consumers looking to get into a smartphone without having to endure the usual high-cost associated with the purchase.

Beginning Friday the 24th, Cingular will offer the new affordable Treo for as low as US$199 with a data plan, and for a limited time the Treo 680 will come with a music bundle from Yahoo!, which includes a 30-day free trial of Yahoo! Music Unlimited To Go.

The Treo 680 is a quad-band GSM handset that utilises EDGE for data connectivity. The Treo also includes a 320x320 pixel resolution touch screen, 64MB of available memory, and Bluetooth, as well as supporting business features such as push email and extensive PIM functionality.
