<p><strong>Smartphones</strong> are designed for business two as many of them have the features and perform the tasks as a laptop. But not many have what <strong>HTC Touch Pro2</strong> has. It is a phone based on Windows-mobile and has loads of software, call features for business-centric and not to mention the stellar design. As it is designed mostly for business there aren’t many fun extras on it, but you can personalize it with some games and entertainment applications if you are really stuck with this smartphone. You can make your final decision by reading the following <strong>review</strong>.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
To go first with the design, it has a big 3.6” display and a 480x800 resolution pixels. The screen is really amazing and below the screen you will find home, back, send, and end buttons and also touch-sensitive buttons. All of these in an elegant sleek phone. But when you get your hands on this <strong>HTC</strong> it will be a bit of a weight surprise. It weights 6.3 ounces, maybe in your hands you’ll get used to it but when in the pocket you might consider getting a belt. It is also a bit thick thanks to the slide-out keyboard. When you pull the keyboard out you will see the buttons are spaced enough, easy to use when you type and comfortable in hands also.
Besides typing you still have to make calls as it is a mobile phone and the <strong>HTC</strong> <strong>Touch pro2</strong> is not disappointing at all. The voice quality is very good and the sound is loud and clear. Another thing you will love about this smartphone is that it has a clever way to manage your contacts. There is a contact view that groups all your message, e-mail, voice history from each person so you won’t have to search in all the archive a certain e-mail or text message.
As for software this <strong>HTC</strong> model has Windows Mobile 6.1, meaning you can have your own Microsoft Office suit on your phone. You can create Word documents, edit Excel templates and view PowerPoint presentations. There are additional utilities such as Adobe Reader LE, YouTube application and more to come. As there isn’t a special store for getting applications such as Apple has you will have to search for them yourself. You can get online and use Internet Explorer as your browser.
You can switch to Opera Mobile if you are more into that. Internet connectivity with high speed is provided by Wi-Fi networks and T-Mobile's 3G HSDPA. There is also a camera available with 3.2 megapixels, it has no flash but auto-focus is included. In order to take a photo you will have to tap the screen as it does not provide a shutter button, pictures taken look nice, bright and colorful. You can choose to listen to music with the Windows Media Player, an easy and basic application to run both audio and video files.
You can get this <strong>HTC</strong> <strong>Touch Pro 2</strong> for $350 from T-Mobile with two-year service contract. If you want it unlocked you will have to pay about $600. It is not cheap at all but having these features and providing such multimedia tasks will make all the money worth. And being designed for business, money don’t count that much.

<p><strong>HTC </strong>comes from High Tech Computer Corporation and is a Taiwan manufacturer of smartphones. They first based on Microsoft Windows Mobile software but later on in 2009 it changed to Android operating system. This company was named in 2010 this year on February as the 31st most innovative company. There are some rumors that <strong>HTC</strong> is trying to compete with Apple’s iOS, Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating systems by creating one of their own.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
This company is based only on <strong>smartphones</strong> and this one of their concerns by trying to put on the market the best phones. And because everything is getting so compact (notebooks for example) many phones have reduced their sizes but have implemented multimedia features and advanced computing applications so people won’t be forced to take laptops along but just their smartphones.
The good thing about <strong>HTC s711 </strong>is that it has a slide-out keyboard. I know that this is not so unusual nowadays but this one is really slim and it runs with Microsoft operating system (Windows Mobile 6). We must appreciate the design, it you don’t slide the keyboard out you might just say it is a regular phone but in fact it is a <strong>smartphone</strong>.
The dimensions are 50 x 101.5 x 18.6 millimeters and it weights just 140g with the battery included. The CPU is Texas Instruments OMAP and its clock is 201MHz. As for the RAM you have included 64 MB. The screen is TFT and it has 2.4” with a 240x320 resolution. The colors are bright; you can adjust the brightness especially if you want to save up the battery. It has vibrated mode and you can put it on speaker. The numeric keyboard is built-in and you can do anything just like your usual phone, type text messages, make calls. When you want something different and are in a hurry slide-out the QWERTY keyboard.
If you want you can upgrade the phone adding some memory to it as it supports microSD, microSDHC, TransFlash and SDIO. You can connect your phone with the USB cable you receive to transfer any data necessary or add some pictures, music. It has Bluetooth also so you can exchange media with your friends, but it does not have Infrared. It has a camera of 1.9 megapixels with 1x zoom. The battery is removable and it has 1050 mAh capacity. To personalize you smartphone you can download themes, ringtones from the internet directly from your <strong>HTC s711,</strong> or if not you can transfer files from your computer.
This is a short <strong>review</strong> of the <strong>HTC s711</strong> and it is meant to give you some simple specifications to take into account. For more advanced smartphones you can see some of the latest models pulled out by <strong>HTC</strong> giving improved mobility and multimedia features. This one has just some simple tasks and as you can see the design is also simple as well. Some of the latest <strong>smartphones</strong> have the QWERTY keyboard as the main keyboard and not slide in as this one. Or even more they have both touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard all in one phone. Technology has improved greatly in the phone industry and this is obvious the first thing you enter in a specialized store.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
Being a business phone the price is a bit high (at <strong>Sprint</strong> get it at $349.99) with two year contract. Although it costs much, <strong>Sprint</strong> offers world-wide roaming possibilities.
In matter of design the phone looks very good, has rounded edges for a familiar look, and the gray and black colors are classic. It is shorter than other models (4.56 inches tall by 2.33 inches wide by 0.68 inch thick) and weights 6.3 ounces. The 3.6” WVGA touchscreen supports 26.000 colors and makes photos, web-pages look clear and with vibrant colors. Having a TouchFlo 3D interface makes it easy to navigate through the phone and what is more <strong>Sprint</strong> added some tabs to create an easy access to their service (<strong>Sprint</strong> Music, <strong>Sprint</strong> Navigation and Sprint TV). Of course you can change the tabs and remove them or add some more. Under the screen there are the navigation controls, Talk and End keys, Back button and the Start menu shortcut. The slide-out QWERTY has spacious and large keys keeping your texting out of misspells. <strong>Sprint</strong> comes with something different by offering a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, located on the bottom of the phone. Now you can plug in your headphones or ear buds without the use of an audio adapter. On the sides there are the usual volume controls, the <strong>camera</strong> on the back and the SIM card slot behind the battery door.
In the box along with the <strong>HTC Touch pro 2</strong> you will get the AC adapter, USSB cable, screen protector, SIM card, software CD for installation, materials and an extra stylus. In case you want other accessories you will have to get them additionally. Other features include the Windows Mobile 6.1, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. You get your Opera Mobile 9.5 for web browser opening pages pretty fast. For international roaming <strong>HTC</strong> supports both SIM and CDMA network. Besides the GPS you can take advantage of other services like <strong>Sprint</strong> Navigation offering 2D and 3D maps, voice directions so you will always get a clue on where you are. You can watch TV with <strong>Sprint</strong> TV or any YouTube videos. The 3.2 megapixels <strong>camera</strong> has 5 resolutions, but no flash. Pictures taken have good quality and the colors look bright enough. You can record videos in different video formats and in different resolution. Regarding memory you have 288MB or RAM, but you can go for an expansion of the microSD card slot and slip in up to 16GB.
The call quality is excellent you will have no problems at all in this chapter. Listening to music is also a good way of entertaining with the Music Player available and the videos loaded pretty quickly without the interruptions. The 1500mAh lithium ion battery lasted 4 hours in talk time and 14 days in stand by. But you won’t be able to keep your hands off it so don’t expect to test the stand by resistance.

<p>Having to choose a contract to a certain phone service brings some advantages and disadvantages. And if you were envying those from Sprint for having in stock <strong>HTC Touch Diamond</strong>, now it is available for <strong>Alltel</strong> customers as well. You can buy it for $249.99 if you sign a two-year contract with <strong>Alltel</strong>.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
And you will want this great design <strong>HTC Touch Diamond</strong>.
With this touchscreen phone you get Bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.2 megapixels camera. <strong>HTC</strong> considers this model to be the most important this year. It has a 3D interface and the design has much to say, its sleek mirror face and 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide by 0.4 inch deep dimensions make it slim enough to put it in any pocket you have. It also weights just about 3.8 ounces. The display features 2.8” has VGA quality text and the colors are vibrant making images and pictures look great. You can hold the phone either vertically or horizontally as it has an orientation sensor.
The clock is bigger on the Home display and on the bottom you have a toolbar from where you can launch applications (e-mail, camera, music, messages, and files). For text typing you can use the screen keyboard and choose from full QWERTY and compact QWERTY. You have some buttons below the screen for Talk and End and the directional key. On the sides are other controls like the volume rocker on the left and the USB port and stylus on the bottom. On top there is the power button and the camera is located on the back of the phone.
It is a smartphone having the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Edition. Other features include a PDF reader, task manager, Zip manager, calculator and a voice recorder. The internal memory is 4GB, there is a large storage and you can add up photos, music files, applications to fill it up. And you must know that this is the limits as it does not support any expansion possibilities. The address book is limited, you can add up 250 contacts but for each entry you can add 12 other phone numbers, contact information and you can pair up in groups and also set a ringtone for each and even pictures. As for web browser it has Opera, works smooth and loads up the pages pretty quickly. You have access and can watch YouTube videos also. For real-tracking you have GPS giving directions and you can use Wi-Fi hot spots to find you location faster. The <strong>HTC Touch Diamond</strong> has a 3.2 megapixels review with 4x zoom optic and you can record videos. You can choose from five photo resolutions and set the brightness. Pictures taken look clear with bright colors.
Some say that the call quality is not a strength point and they were a bit disappointed. It has a 528MHz Qualcomm processor and it takes a bit opening certain applications. The battery (900mAh lithium ion) does score pretty big, 5.5 hours in talk time and 11 days in stand by. But having so many applications, camera, bid screen the battery drains out quickly. All in all it has its good and bad points depending on how you see them.

HTC Dream reviews speak about this amazing smart phone that lives up to the expectations of people who are looking for a beautiful, practical, powerful, elegant and intelligent smart phone. We have read a couple of HTC Dream reviews and we have gathered some of the most important specs that may prove to be interesting for people that are considering to buy the beautiful HTC Dream.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
This cell phone can work with both 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G networks (HSDPA 2100). This cell phone was released in June 2009 and it is a very elegant device that measures 117.7 x 55.7 x 17.1 mm in dimensions and 158 grams in weight. Ok, it may not be the smallest or lightest smart phone on the market but it is a HTC filled with high end technology features. The TFT touch screen of the HTC Dream measures 3.2 inches and it comes with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Sliding the phone to the right is going to reveal a beautiful QWERTY keyboard which is a pleasure to use and it makes typing long messages, e-mails and other text a lot easier.
The HTC Dream comes with 192 Mb of RAM and storage memory is into something that you have to be concerned about because if the internal memory proves to be too low, you can always buy some additional memory thanks to the included microSD card slot. As all the other cool smart phones on the market, the HTC Dream has included wireless, Bluetooth and a mini USB port. If you wish to use this cell phone to take some pictures, you must know that the integrated camera has a 3.15 mp sensor and it is capable of recording videos and taking pictures at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. even if the camera is not the best ever seen because modern cell phone go with a 5mp sensor, you can still use the camera of the HTC Dream to take good pictures.
The processor found on this beautiful smart phone is the 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7201A and the Dream runs the Android operating system. With an interface which is user friendly, you will get used to the functions and applications of this phone in no time. You have an included digital compass, similar to the one found on the iPhone. There is the voice memo feature and for people which like to attach a pair of headphones and listen to a good song once in a while there is also an included MP3 player.
In fact, what would a smart phone be in our days if it didn’t have an integrated MP3 player? The standard Li-Ion 1150 mAh battery does not do wonder but it can provide a decent amount of cell phone usage anyway. It can keep the HTC Dream on for about 5 hours and 20 minutes in conversation mode but if you keep the phone in standby mode, you will get about 400 hours of performance.
