The first one, the G2GO M2000 is expected to be the substitute of the Lingo M1000 and comes with a QWERTY keyboard that is able to slide horizontally, music dedicated keys and, of course, an accelerometer.

The features of the phone are said to be a 2.4 inches QVGA display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, email and IM, voice recognition, MP3 player and microSD card slot for expandable memory of no more than 8GB. The phone measures 113 x 52 x 17 millimeters and weighs no more than 120 grams, providing approximately 250 minutes of talk time and no more than 200 hours of stand-by time.

The phone is expected to be commercialized with an affordable price by Virgin Mobile, starting this month. It’s just that the name of the phone will be Kyocera X-tc.

As for the second handset, the Laylo M1400 is provided with non-QWERTY keypad, vertical this time. The features include a 2.2 inches QVGA display, a VGA camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a speaker-independent voice recognition. It seems that the Kyocera X-tc is already available if you’re interested in purchasing it for a price of $99. The great thing is that you won’t be obliged to sign a contract agreement in order to get the phone for this price.

The second device, the JAX, looks quite familiar, at first glance. And it’s not wrong to think so, because it’s similar to the Kyocera S1300 that is being sold by Cricket. This one comes with a full color screen, mobile Web, a speakerphone, voice dialing and a display with a resolution of 128×160 pixels.

The phone measures 109 x 44 x 13 millimeters and weighs approximately 2.5 ounces. The battery lasts up to 200 minutes in the talk time mode and up to 8.3 days in the stand-by mode. As for this cell phone, the information about pricing and availability isn’t yet at our disposal.

Kyocera TNT! Is a small flip phone measuring 3.5 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches at 3 ounces, sporting an external monochrome display that shows who’s calling by revealing the caller ID. Inside it has pre-installed games but you can also download animated and Real Music ringtones.
On the main screen of 65K colors you can browse through menus and applications using a user-friendly interface and with the Virgin XL you get access to games, music and wallpapers for a small charge per day.
The cell phone model provides up to 200 minutes of talk time and no less than 5 days of standby, while in addition it features speakerphone, and simple web access.

This cell phone has a hidden OLED caller-ID display and a large 2.2-inch QVGA display, as well as Bluetooth, voice recognition, a built-in 1.3MP camera, Instant Messaging, MP3 player, cool screen savers, wallpapers for personalization, BREW 3.1.5, Internet browsing, and email.

Next comes the Kyocera Mako S4000, a beautiful clamshell showing a color external display, a large keypad, the 1.8-inch main display, and support for Bluetooth, WAP 2.0 and BREW 3.1.5.

Kyocera Adreno S2400 clamshell cell phone is designed to look kinda retro with its tactile finish and the curved edges in high-contrast colors.
The keyboard is large as the 1.8-inch main display for easy messaging.
Other features include MP3 player and external caller ID display.

All are affordable mobile phones that will be released in Q3 this year to support 800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz frequency bands.
Kyocera also announced that it has finalized the acquisition of Sanyo mobile phone division.

The speech recognition capability from Nuance allows for digit dialing and speaker-independent name so the user can easily dial just by pushing the special button and start to speak the name he/she wants to call from the phone book, or by saying the phone number.
Other commands supported are application launching, menu navigation and others.

Verizon Wireless and Kyocera have launched a new entry-level handset ready for the holiday shopping season, the Kyocera K323.

The handset sports a 65k color TFT LCD display and Bluetooth, a VGA resolution camera. The Kyocera K323 includes a photo touch-up application for adding frames and adjusting color and resolution of captured photos. Alarm clock, tip calculator, and voice memo applications are installed, and speakerphone functionality is included for hands free conversations.

The new Kyocera K323 is available now from Verizon Wireless, and for a limited time can be yours free with the purchase of a Verizon VBT135 Bluetooth headset for US$29.99.

Verizon Wireless announced two new entry-level phones. First one is the Pantech PN-300, a clamshell that has two displays, the internal of which supports 65k colors. It lacks camera and advanced multimedia features, as it is targeted to people who don’t want to spend much on their mobile phone.

It seems that the clamshell form-factor is the main selling point for entry-level devices, as the other phone Verizon Wireless will offer is also of this design – the Kyocera K323. This one is coming with internal antenna, built-in camera, and bluetooth, but it will also be one of the free phones the carrier will offer in its line.

It’s expected for the Pantech PN-300 to launch very soon, while the Kyocera K323 will be available later, but probably before the end of the year.
