A couple of months ago there were some rumors concerning a brand new LG smartphone that the company was working on at that time and it seems that their plans are going further, because there are some more rumors about it. If you remember, LG announced during the Mobile World Congress that it will initiate a partnership with Microsoft and that there were approximately 26 Windows cell phones in plans in 2012. And who knows? Maybe this is one of them.

Back then, when we first had the chance to see this device, the information resorted to the screen resolution and the fact that it was going to come with 3G data support, but no more than that. The LG GT810H is the phone in discussion and is very similar to the LG Incite GC810 that we already know quite well. It’s just that the GT810H is targeted at the South American continent.

As for the features, they include: a 3 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA, FM radio, 256MB of internal memory and 8GB of external memory. The device weighs approximately 105 grams. This is right about everything that we know right now about the new LG smartphone, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as new information comes in the spotlight.

I told you before and I will tell it to you once again: when two brands join together, chances are much higher for each of them to become even more famous than they already are. It’s a very smart step, because you know how they say: the power of two is greater than the power of only one man.

This is why LG has just announced a brand new partnership consisting of an “advertising campaign, a serialized webisode and a consumer promotion centered around individual style”. The partnership is the one made with a famous fashion icon, Heidi Klum, whom you all know so very well. The model will be part of the promotion of LG Rumor2, which also included the introduction of personalized back plates for the phone.

As I said before, the partnership will include online webisodes, eight to be more precise, which are said to be all hosted by Heidi Klum and will be all found on the LGRumor2 website. If you’ll be curious enough to access the site, you’ll have the chance to win something that you could never have dreamed about: a seat at the Style Council, led by Heidi, where they will be able to design a back plate for the LG Rumor2. After being judged, the criterions being the creativity and the design execution, the winner will be privileged to have its own back plate in the new collection.

We’ve talked about the second LG Viewty phone for so long that it seems like it’s been here since forever. And we’re not so very far from the truth, as it has been rumored for months. Not to mention the leaked photos or the accidents that brought some press photos with the new cell phone before becoming official.

In the given context, the South Korean company thought that this is the perfect time for the handset to be officially introduced to the public as the successor of the first LG Viewty, which, according to the manufacturer, sold an impressive amount of units: more than 6.5 million.

“Viewty is back and better than ever, with new smart camera applications that take care of all the complicated camera adjustments and processing for you”, said Dr. Skott Ahn, the President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. In addition, he said that “Viewty Smart represents the next generation of LG camera phones, and will drive LG leadership in the industry with its innovative, smart technology”.



After trying to find which the consumers’ preferences are by conducting some surveys in countries like the Brazil, China, France, India, Russia, United Kingdom and United States, they tried to conceive the device that was closest to perfection, according to what the consumers answered. The result is quite impressive and includes, for example the Intelligent Shot Mode, a feature that is designed to analyze the subject, the background and the lighting conditions. Then it enable a comparison between the data and some pre-programmed scenarios (seven, to be more precise), which is a helping hand when it comes to taking the perfect photos ever.



Other features include the 8 megapixel camera with a maximum ISO setting of 1600 and LED flash, with Multi-Face Detection, DVD-quality D1 video recording capabilities, with Art Shot, Beauty Shot, Continuous Shot, Panorama Shot and Touch Shot, then the 3D S-class user interface, a 3 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA networj, Wi-Fi, geo-tagging based on assisted GPS, an internal memory of 1.5GB and a microSD card for external memory of no more than 32GB.



The new LG Viewty phone, called Smart or GC900, is expected to become available sometimes next month (meaning May), when several European carriers are said to start selling it.

If a cell phone manufacturer has big plans for one of its products, then a pink version of the device is a must have. You can’t talk about success without having your cell phone all dressed in pink. I don’t quite know what’s with this color, because women are crazy about it. You don’t have to make efforts in order to win her hear5. All you have to do is to just give her something pink and it doesn’t really matter what the certain “something” is.

After being so very talked about and then acclaimed, the LG Renoir KC910, which is the big brother of LG Cookie, if I may say so, will be available in a pink outfit that is meant to attract more and more women. You’ll be surprised to see how they react to pink and LG will convince itself that the pink device will be more successful than the black edition, at least as far as the fairer sex is concerned.

The phone was released during the last year, back in November, and it didn’t need very much in order to become a very popular handset. This probably happened because it’s a phone that came equipped with nice features, from the 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and xenon flash, the 3 inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, HSDPA connectivity, TV out, the accelerometer and more.

As you can imagine, the pink cell phone will have the same features on board as the original version, the difference consisting of the case, of course. Unfortunately, the device is available for the moment only in the United Kingdom and customers can buy it via O2, Orange and T-Mobile. Let’s just hope that the British market won’t be the only one to sell the new pink cell phone.

You know how they say: some people are more fortunate than others, even if sometimes it doesn’t seem to be fair for those who feel like the bad luck is all they’ve got in this life. However, we must be aware of the fact that, after all, we all get what we deserve. Sooner or later.

What’s bad for the non-British people is the fact that they won’t have the chance to enjoy the experience brought by the LG GD900, a new device which is said to be one of the most appealing and interesting cell phones of this year. The phone was presented at the beginning of this year, during the 2009 Mobile World Congress.

The LG GD900 comes with an innovation that it will most certainly make people tremble of excitement: a transparent sliding keypad, which seems to be first one ever built. And if the British people saying hey to the new LG Crystal make you a little bit envious, you may always content yourself with some information about the phone.

It seems that the device will be available in the United Kingdom via the Carphone Warehouse, sometimes in the second half of the next month, May to be more precise. But the release date isn’t very precise. As for the price, we don’t know (not for the moment) how much it will cost, but the specs and the transparent keypad (which is unique) won’t convert it into an affordable phone.

Now, the LG GD900 Crystal comes with a WVGA touchscreen display, an S-Class Touch user interface, an 8 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity, multi-touch input, handwriting recognition, and the Dolby Mobile audio technology. Hooray for the British people, what can I say more?
