Motorola Tundra

I have never been a fan of Motorola cell phones but they come up with some exceptional model once in a while. One of these cell phone models which was really appreciated even if it does not come with the latest high end technology features is the Motorola Tundra.

This cell phone can operate in both 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G networks (HSDPA 850 / 1900). This cell phone was released back in January 2009 and it comes with 98 x 53.8 x 24 mm in dimensions and 107 grams in weight. When you take a first look at this cell phone, you will notice that it’s quite thick and very different from the super slim cell phones that are being constantly released on the market these days. The Motorola Tundra comes with an external display which measures 1.05 inches in diagonal and it has a resolution of 96 x 80 pixels. When you open up the phone, bigger and more beautiful display will be revealed. The internal display measures 2.2 inches in diagonal and it comes at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, offering support for 256K colors.

The Motorola Tundra may not come with the latest high end technology features but it does offer support for MP3 ringtones and it also covers vibration alerts and downloadable polyphonic tunes. The phonebook of this cell phone can help you store up to 1000 contact entries which should be enough for you to save all the phone numbers you need. As for the call records, the Tundra will always be able to show you information about the last 20 missed calls, dialed calls and received calls. The internal memory of this cell phone is 100 MB but thank to the microSD card slot, you can extend the memory of this phone with up to 4 GB which should be more than enough to store all the files you need.

Unfortunately, there is no integrated WI-Fi on this cell phone and even if this is no surprise to us, you cannot use this cell phone to connect to the internet whenever you have a wireless hotspot somewhere near you. There is an integrated Bluetooth even if the Tundra does not come with infrared. The integrated camera is a 2 MP one and it cannot take the bet quality pictures. However, you should be able to get some decent images at a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. You can also use this camera to record some videos. The Motorola Tundra even uses the Linux / Java-based MOTOMAGX operating system to run. Aside from other features like a MP3 / AAC / MP4 player, organizer, voice dial and voce memo, this cell phone even comes with decent battery life. The Motorola Tundra may not be a fancy cell phone, but it has a Li-Ion 1130 mAh that can keep the device on for 5 hours and 16 minutes of battery like and up to 480 hours in standby mode.
