These new cool speakers from Motorola are meant to offer you louder sounds for the music you are listening on your cell phone, anywhere on the go. ROKR EQ7 and ROKR EQ5 are small portable speakers available at Motorola’s online store with Bluetooth enabled, allowing you to listen audio wirelessly together with your compatible mobile handset.
ROKR EQ7 has more advanced features while the ROKR EQ5 comes in a stylish design, both providing enhanced sound quality for music and calls, for any model of MP3 player, cell phone and other portable devices, not necessarily Motorola-branded.

“Music lovers and mobile consumers can now share and enjoy their music with great portability and rich sound quality,” stated Sean Ramsey, General Manager North America, Motorola Companion Products. “These portable speakers give people two unique ways to enjoy music and hands-free speakerphone calls in innovative style.”



Released as an alternative solution to the speakerphone capability, these new models come at a price of $199.95 for the EQ7 and $119.95 for the EQ5, and can be purchased from electronic retailers.

MOTOROKR EQ5 Ultra-Portable Wireless Speaker fits any pocket because of its sleek form factor, and can be connected easily with any computer, multimedia player and cell phones supporting the Bluetooth technology. If you don’t have this functionality enabled, there’s no problem, because the model has optional 3.5 mm audio cable which is the universal wired connectivity. In addition, it features the SRS WOW HD technology for high definition stereo sounds, while the the background noises and echoes are significantly reduced during calls. The radio frequency shielding prevents static interferences.
This speaker provides up to 8 hours of playback from a single charge, which can be performed via the microUSB port while you are still listening to the music.



The other speaker, ROKR EQ7 Wireless Hi-Fi Stereo Speaker System, brings the power of 4 JBL speakers for a more detailed sound with deep bass. The Bluetooth profile used is A2DP to allow wireless connectivity for stereo sounds with all Bluetooth devices. The 3.5 mm port is not missing either, in case you need to connect the cable.
EQ7 also features noise reduction and echo cancellation, as well as a button for mute, and powers from 4 AA batteries to provide up to 6 hours of playback.

Swarovski Motorola KRZR

The company has just announced the partnership with Swarovski Crystallized Elements to offer also precious stones-designed cell phones and other handsets, which will be available in the United Kingdom in selected stores, as well as online on the company’s website.

3 New ROKR

Motorola added 3 new mobile handset models to its modern ROKR line of music phones, to offer more style options to its customers.
There is the MOTOROKR EM30 music phone, a candybar handset featuring the ModeShift technology from Motorola, the ROKR EM28 clamshell sporting touch-sensitive keys, and the ROKR EM25 slider coming with built-in FM radio sharing.

“Following the path of our award-winning ROKR E8, the newest additions to our ROKR family make listening to and discovering new music accessible and affordable for everyone,” said Steve Lalla, corporate vice president, mass market, Motorola Mobile Devices. “From uncovering new music with friends through our FMShare feature to enjoying surround-sound quality audio, these new ROKR phones deliver the music you want whenever, wherever and however you want to hear it.”



At the first glance, the MOTOROKR EM30 looks stunning, with black and red color lines and a round metallic center button that adds a plus of style. Motorola models use the ModeShift technology especially designed for the music mode, which activates at a touch of a button illuminating the keypad and creating a special effect.
Other cool features of this cell phone include 8GB microSD card support for expanding the memory and add more songs, 3.5 mm stereo headphones slot, Bluetooth wireless transfers, and the CristalTalk sound technology that eliminates the background noises.



It provides up to 360 minutes of talk time, 300 hours of standby, multiple audio format support, text-to-speech recognition, airplane mode, Windows Media Player 11, and a built-in 2MP camera with no less than 8x digital zoom.
Next, there is the ROKR EM28, a model with enhanced audio system, touch keys that light up when you activate the music player, the SONGID technology providing details about the current track you are listening to, and no less than 11 hours of music playback, using a 940mAH battery. During this time you can play with 11 pre-set music genres, equalizer settings, and boost the bass up to 9 dB.

The music phone comes also with 3D sound effects, spatial audio and bass boost, audio equalizer and CrystalTalk technology, FM radio with RDS, airplane mode, universal 3.5 mm headset jack, speakerphone, as well as other functionalities in addition to the music capabilities. Motorola released the Adventure V750 via Verizon Wireless, as a rugged mobile solution with push-to-talk capability for active users who need a durable handset designed to resist in extreme conditions. The two-way push-to-talk communication allows the user to stay in touch with a group of people and see who is available for calling. Using Verizon Wireless’ Evolution-Data Optimized Revision A network, it is able to transfer files at high speeds, in addition to meeting the military specifications for shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, high-temperature storage, high and low temperature operation and altitude.
