Motorola Bluetooth H700

Motorola is not only a producer of mobile phones, but also Bluetooth headsets. It has designed some of the best and you can use them with any mobile phone, either from Motorola or not. If you have Bluetooth on your phone, it is easier to take calls and answer if you are always on the run, if your phone is in your case or so, if you get a Bluetooth headset. You just place the tiny piece on your ear and then things get a lot easier. You have both hands free, you can manage everything on the background and you can even drive your care safely, without looking at the phone, holding it in your hand and trying to access buttons. Motorola Bluetooth H700 is one of the models you can easily find for purchase. It comes in a stylish form factor and small size, provides solid call quality and it feels very comfortable when you have it on your ear.

But you have to be aware that sometimes small Bluetooth headsets come with small buttons and if you have larger hands, it can be slightly uncomfortable to manage them. Even so, the device wins a lot of points thanks to its design and it comes also with a foldable mic that turns the headset on and off. Being so lightweight 0.2 ounces, you will barely feel it when you put it on. And even in your pocket will not require a lot of room, as it has that pebble-like form. You can find it for around $100 in stores, but thanks to some online discounts, you can even get it cheaper. As every device has its one point that makes it stand out from the others, Motorola Bluetooth H700 comes with a foldable microphone and if you flip it down you can answer the calls and flipping it up ends the calls. It is very easy to manage it and you will get used to the mechanism in no time. Also, the ergonomic ear hook provides a rubberized back, leading to a comfortable fit. And unlike other headsets, the earpiece is positioned against the ear and not inside it, so you will hardly realize that you are wearing it.

The device comes with three buttons: the large one is the multifunctional button and it stands in the middle and there is also a volume control on each side. The multifunction button starts and ends calls, but it also turns blue when it is on and acts as a pairing button. On top of the H700 is the charger port. Except for the volume buttons, which are a tide small, you will have no problem with the multifunctional one. As mentioned at the beginning, you don’t have to have a Motorola mobile phone to use one of their Bluetooth headsets. You can use it with any device. Some tested it with Nokia and Samsung mobile phones and there were no problems when pairing the devices up. Phone calls turned out loud and clear, even though in some noisy environments, sound quality can be diminished. Among other features, we can mention as well support for three-way calling, voice dialing, remembering of the last number dialed, mute, and call waiting and putting a call on hold.

When you purchase Motorola Bluetooth H700, you also get the USB charger and the rated talk time is up to 6 hours and in stand-by time of 5 days.

Motorola Smartphones

Motorola is facing a rise up in the market, as the company pulled out some of the best smartphones. It even lies in the list of “best smartphones of 2011” made by several websites and reviewers. And why wouldn’t they if they present the needed characteristics, they have what it takes and without doubts users are impressed and are looking for more even. One of the latest and the best Motorola smartphone from Verizon is Motorola Droid Bionic.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

Even the name sounds impressive, so we should check it out and see how bionic this phone really is. Among the first things we should note we can include the sleek design, large 4.3” qHD display, dual-core processor, Verizon 4G LTE support, strong multimedia features, enterprise utilities, so business users are not forgotten and a long battery life so you can enjoy the most for a longer time. On the bad side we can note that the camera is not as impressive and of course, the price tag which is impressive.

Regarding design, we can say that Motorola Droid Bionic is slim enough to fit inside some pockets and Verizon claims that this device is the thinnest LTE headset in its offer. The glass display has a slight curve on the edges and this will result in a sleek appearance. On the back you will notice a soft-touch finish and the familiar bump on the top has been kept by the company, so those familiarized with their headsets will notice it. The 4.3” qHD display is crisp and clear and it is sharp due to the 960x540 pixels, not as much as the Super AMOLED displays, but it is very good even so. The screen uses Corning Gorilla glass, boasting a dual-layer anti-reflective coating. Under bright direct sunlight you might notice some washed-out colors, but you will still be able to see what is on the screen. Moreover, navigation is really fast and smooth and this is all thanks to the phone’s 1 GHz dual-core processor. As you scroll around web pages and documents, everything works just fine and without any lags. Even multitasking is easy and quick. As for the user interface, you get social network applications and connections to the gallery. The main menu is the same as Droid 3, with the side-to-side navigation instead of the vertical default. Below the display are the four shortcuts for the menu, home, back and search functions. On the right side you will find the volume rocker, micro HDMI port and the micro USB port. On top are the 3.5mm headset jack and the power key. The VGA camera on the front is for video calling. On the camera is the camera with the single LED flash. Connectivity options include the needed features: Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. You can even use your Motorola Droid Bionic as a mobile hot spot to connect five devices as long as you activate Mobile Broadband plan. The 8 megapixels camera proves to give great picture quality, sharp images and accurate colors. Some are disappointed about the single camera LED flash and the absence of the dual Xenon flash.

To conclude, the operating could be only Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, which provides a great virtual keyboard, access to all Google mobile services, such as Gmail, Google Talk, YouTube, Google Maps Navigation, Google Search with voice and so on.

Motorola Moto Q9h Smartphones

Motorola is back on the market and one of the come-backs is Motorola Moto Q9h smartphone, which is a great messaging-oriented device as it presents itself with a spacious QWERTY keyboard, multimedia performance and decent call quality. Despite other headsets in its range work with Android, this one runs on Windows Mobile 6 and supports Bluetooth, world-roaming, GPS, a 2 megapixels camera and HSDPA support. On the downside, as it exists like in all cases no matter how advanced a phone is, we can list the lack of a scroll wheel and the fact that the battery drains out quickly. For those looking for a strict messaging device and with less interest in what style and design is concerned, we can say that this is a suitable choice for them. As you read along, you will figure out for yourself what the phone is capable of and what it can do for your needs.

As already mentioned, Motorola Moto Q9h smartphone is not as sleek and slim as the first Motorola Q introduced, as it comes now with a robust body, with a weight of 4.7 ounces, and pretty wide to hardly fit in some tight pockets. When you are engaged into a call, it feels strange holding it at your ear, due to its wideness, but as you hold it as a messaging device, it sure feels comfortable in hands. Even the soft-touch finish helps at the gripping part. The screen has 2.5”, QVGA, supports 65.536 colors and has a pixel resolution of 320x240. It could have been bigger indeed due to the large size of the phone, but when you look at it, you can say the parts are even and it doesn’t look that bad. As for the image quality, images and text looks sharp and crisp and the adaptive technology inside adjusts the backlighting according to the environment you are in. this should help conserving the battery life, especially when you are in bright environments.

Below the display is the navigation array including the two soft keys, Talk/End buttons, shortcuts for the Web browser, Home page, message inbox, back button and the five-way navigation toggle with the central select key. Except for the central OK key, the rest are flat to the surface, so navigation is a bit tricky. Up to this point, the keyboard of the Motorola Moto Q9h smartphone is one of the best ever. Indeed there is less spacing between the buttons, but they are large enough, bubbly and tactile and brightly backlit for typing messages in dark environments. The number keys are highlighted in blue, so you should be able to dial easily. On the bottom row there are shortcuts for launching applications, such as the camera, contacts and the calendar. On the left side of the phone you will find the micro USB port and on the back are the camera lens and the microSD expansion slot. If you prefer having a lot of memory inside your headset, you will be thrilled to hear that you can have up to 32GB.

The mobile phone runs on Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition and you benefit from Microsoft Direct Push Technology for e-mail delivery in real time and synchronization with Outlook calendar, contacts and tasks via Exchange Server.

Motorola Smartphones

Motorola has somehow raised the bars again and it is now active on the market with new smartphones. The company did not come out with a single model and bragged about it, but has several under its sleeve and keeps it coming. And to show a relevant example, let’s see a Motorola smartphone Verizon, if you want to choose this provider. The advanced mobile phone is called Motorola Droid X and it features a marvelous 4.3” touch screen, 8 megapixels camera with HD video capture, HDMI output and you can use the phone as a mobile hot spot.

Motorola and Verizon are two strong names that are not afraid to get into the competition and when introducing this new headset there are a lot of reasons why it will surely sell and attract users. Verizon customers will be fond if they are looking more for a multimedia device and you can get it for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Let’s dig into the features more and see how is this Motorola smartphone Verizon different from the rest.

When you have the phone in your hand, you will not believe how light it is and slim as well. You can also squeeze it in your tight pocket. On the back there is a slight bump due to the camera with flash, but thanks to the soft-touch finish, it feels solid and really nice, making you use the phone all day long. Motorola Droid X has a spacious 4.3” display, WVGA with a pixel resolution of 854x480 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is worth mentioning that the display looks brilliant and crisp, colors are vibrant, text is very easy to read out, so no matter what you have displayed, quality is exceptional. Also, multi-touch capabilities are enabled, so you can pinch, zoom and you can press two buttons at once. The proximity sensor and the built-in accelerometer are very responsive, especially when it comes to changing the screen’s orientation. There are two keyboards to help you with the text entry: standard virtual keyboard and Swype. It is accurate and quick to drag your finger from key to key to enter text, even though it might seem crazy at first. And if you are not fond of the experience, you can always choose the awesome standard keyboard for accurate typing. Below the display are the Android shortcut keys: for the menu, Back key and search. They keys are not touch sensitive, but hard, so if you miss the good old days when you had to press physical keys, you can live the experience once more. On top of the phone is the 3.5mm headphone jack and the power/lock button. On the left side are the HDMI port and the micro USB port. You will need to get a micro HDMI cable in order to connect your Motorola to a HDTV, but buying the cable is really easy and it costs just around $8.

Android 2.1 is running this headset and you get widgets for social networks, weather, and photo gallery and for contacts. You can resize the widgets if you don’t like them big on the display. The home screen will have a cleaner look and you also have more space for information you want. Finally, the 8 megapixels camera takes some pretty nice shots if you get the position right.

Motorola Q Smartphones

Motorola Q smartphone comes in an ultrathin design, sleek and brings a sharp display in discussion plus a full QWERTY keyboard. The multimedia functionality ads a bonus for Motorola fans and the Windows Mobile 5 smartphone also incorporate speakerphone, a 1.3 megapixels camera, solid call quality. But the phone also has some flaws, because it lacks Wi-Fi and analog roaming. We have to admit the fact that design is all that matters sometimes and there are a lot of users who tend to buy a gadget just because it looks good. <-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

Motorola Q smartphone is indeed huge and it is the main drawing point. Even though it comes in a big form factor, the phone is slim and you can easily slip it in your pocket and it will not occupy a lot of space in your purse either. The construction is solid and it feels good when you hold it in your hands. In case you are not accustomed with large mobile phones, you should try it out first or at least let it some time to get used to it as the big shape will also come out when you hold the phone to your ear.

The display of the phone is truly something to look at. It measures 2.5”, supports 65.536 colors and has a pixel resolution of 320x240. The colors seem to pop; images and text look sharp and crisp. Even in direct sunlight you will be able to read what is on the display. You can also choose to customize it with background images, themes and you have some pre-loaded ones to choose from in the first place. Because it is not a touch screen, the screen orientation takes a while until it changes from portrait to landscape. But perhaps it is best that we are talking about a classic screen, as it has tendencies to hold smudges and fingerprints. You will also consider some protective cases or at least a screen protector for that matter. Below the display are the navigation controls and along the right side you also have several. There are two soft keys, Send/End buttons for calling, Home shortcut, five way navigation toggle and a Back key. In order to register your action, you should press firmly the buttons as they are flush to the surface. The QWERTY keyboard has bubbly keys and they are very tactile, which is quite impressive. The spacious layout helps typing messages easy and into the keyboard are also incorporated the camera and speakerphone activation keys. One complain might rise up here and it is regarding the backlighting, which is dim and could affect the typing in darker environments. And as we have mentioned earlier, design is one of the most impressive aspects, because when it comes to features, there is not much to talk about. The Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition comes with Picsel Viewer so you can view, but not edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. You can however open PDFs. As the memory inside is limited, you can consider buying a micro SD card slot.

Outlook Mobile is on-board for e-mails and to synchronize your messages, contacts, calendar and tasks. Finally, the 1.3 megapixels camera has video recording capabilities and you can shot pictures in several resolutions, you also get self-timer, burst mode and white balance adjustments.
