I have to say that I am not crazy about Nokia phone designs but I have to agree with the fact that their cell phones have the latest technology incorporated.
Recently, the biggest mobile phones company has managed to combine the technology with the art again and brought us two special slider models, Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte, which are continuing the Nokia’s 8800 line.

Both models have the same technology level and the difference consists of several sapphires in the D-Pad controller’s area of the 8800 Sapphire Arte, and the price, though if we talk about the price, the difference is little as you will see in a moment.
These are expensive phones for wealthy people or for those that think the accessories make the man.
The phones come in a steel housing with a screen resistant at scratches, same as the previous models from this series.

They have 3G support, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus and 8x digital zoom, and 1GB internal memory so there is no support for adding extra memory.
The display measures 2.0 inches and is a QVGA type of 240x320 pixels. For connection they are equipped with a microUSB connector.
A new feature which these phones come with is the built-in gyroscope that is used to detect the device’s position in space and allows call rejecting or setting the phone to enter silence mode by simply turning the phone with the face down.

Now let’s see the prices.
The Nokia 8800 Arte will be available for €1000 until the end of this year, while the 8800 Sapphire Arte is scheduled to come out at the beginning of 2008 at a price of €1150.
