This is a really thing and light phone with many music features such as: a full 3.5mm headphone jack, memory card slot, FM radio, and dedicated music keys. It has a 860 mAh Lithium Ion battery which can last for max 5 hours (300 minutes) while talking and for up to 300 hours (12.5 days) when in stand by. It has a LCD color TFT / TFD display screen with a diagonal of 2 inch, a resolution of 240 x 320 p (QVGA) and 16.7 million colors (24 bit).

Its internal memory is 30 MB, but it also has built in microUSB connector which supports mass storage mode. It has Bluetooth connectivity too and a PC sync function. For the ring tones you can use any of these formats: AAC, eAAC +, MP3, MP4, WMA, AMR. You can also browse the internet with this phone, and it has the Browser Software: Opera Mini and supports XHTML, HTML, WAP 2.0, WML, TCP/IP.

You can even send mails and the protocols supported are: POP3, IMAP4, SMTP. It supports attachments too, such as :JPEG, 3 GPP, MP3, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF. As we said it has an FM Radio and the supported audio formats of the music player are: MP3, AAC, AAC+ eAAC+, M4A and WMA. It also has a built in camera of 2 megapixels which can also capture videos. And some of its other features would be: alarm, calculator, calendar, syncML, to do list, voice memo and it also supports JAVA games.

But you can also install all sorts of applications on this phone, and now we’ll take some random examples of <strong>Nokia 5310 apps. </strong>One would be the “Weather Channel Mobile Web “ and it will allow you to see the weather directly on your mobile phone. You can view the local weather on just about any place of the globe. In case you like chatting on the internet, and especially if you are single, you can use the “Skout Dating” application. This app will allow you to meet new people from your area, get in touch with them, meet them online…and who knows, maybe later you will meet with them in person too. you can respond just to the persons you want, and you can also set your profile private, so that no one can know that you are there…but in this time you can still look through the profiles of others. Nokia 5530

<strong>Nokia 5530</strong> XpressMusic is a good choice when it comes to price if you are looking for a touchscreen phone. It comes cheaper than many of other models out there. It looks very nice, with a sleek design and it offers a good set of features for the price it comes. The good thing is that it has a good sound quality, has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 70MB internal memory, but you can expand if you want using the microSD card slot. It also has a 3 megapixels camera taking pretty nice pictures.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
If you can’t afford the N97 or Nokia 5800, both of them having what it takes and amazing features, you can turn around at this <strong>Nokia 5530</strong>, but be aware that the specifications are not as impressive as the former models. The low price must be compromised a bit. The screen has 2.9”, you will see it smaller once you hold it and use it to view web pages or pictures. The pixel resolution is 640x360, it is the same as the former models, but this might be one of the smallest displays seen in a touchscreen phone. this is not the only thing Nokia has compromised for a small price, you will notice the 3G support being chucked, so you must choose between GPRS or Edge when you want to browse the internet, which you must know has limited support for Flash.

But as long as you have Wi-Fi, this issue can be left aside. You can still use the mapping support, but it does not compare at accuracy and speed as other improved Nokia phones. Moreover, the operating system is S60 5th Edition, easy to use and you can benefit from various applications already installed. You can always download more on Ovi application store you have on-phone.

As for touchscreen quality, it isn’t very responsive, actually quite resistant. You will have to tap once or twice in order to get the command started and there is no multi-touch support, you won’t be able to zoom or pinch files or photos as you can on the hero or iPhone. Even though <strong>Nokia 5530</strong> forms part of the XpressMusic collection, it has the same music player as other mobile phones using S60 operating system. it is the basic interface with the basic commands, it get’s the job done and that is what matters in the end. It is also easy to navigate and the sound quality is pretty decent. The ear-headphones you receive in the box have bass response and you will feel the difference for sure. The 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the bottom of the phone, meaning you have to keep the phone headfirst in your pocket to avoid the cable from snagging.

Let’s not forget about the 3.2 megapixels camera, unfortunately it doesn’t have the Carl Zeiss optics you find on other high-end Nokia phones. But it does provide a LED flash so you can take photos even in darker conditions. Pictures look nice and of decent quality.

As for the battery, in talk time it lasts for about 5 hours, but if you use the music player and you take one or two pictures you will end up charging the phone almost daily.
