For today we’ll discuss more about one of the phones made by this company, and we’ll choose the Nokia N95. This is a smartphone produced by Nokia as part of the N series, and it was released in 2007. It runs with the Symbian OS v9.2 operating system and with a S 60 3rd edition user interface. It has a 2 way sliding mechanism which can be used to access either media playback buttons or a numeric keypad.

Initially it was released in silver, and later in black but there also was a limited edition in gold and purple. When it was released in 2007, the Nokia N 95 price was around 350 Euro (500 dollars), and even though there were released some more other N-series phones since then, it still has quite a big price of around 300 Euro (400 dollars). And this is because it is quite a really good phone, with many features and technologies included.
Its display screen is a QVGA Matrix with a diagonal of 2.6 inch, 16 million colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The overall size of the phone is 99 mm × 53 mm × 21 mm and its processor is a Dual 332 MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 2420 (ARM11 based). It also has an internal dynamic memory of 128 RAM (the initial one was just 55 MB for the N95 – 1). The initial internal flash memory was also small (just 147 MB), but now you can find versions with a capacity of up to 8 GB. It also has a powerful 5 megapixels camera – Frontal CIF video call & main rear 2592 × 1944 camera with auto-focus, Carl Zeiss optics, capture Aspect ratio (image): 4/3 (1.33:1).

It can also record videos with a VGA resolution of 640 x 480 and up to 30 fps. The graphics is Fully HW accelerated 3D (OpenGL ES 1.1, HW accelerated Java 3D), and it also has a memory card slot for micro SD or micro SDHC cards. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, GPS and Wi Fi with wireless LAN (802.11 b / g) and UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). It comes with a data cable that can be connected to a USB 2.0 port and it has a music player with stereo speakers and 3 D audio. Of course it also has a radio FM player which requires headphones or hands free to work.
For the ring tones you can use any of these formats: MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / eAAC+ / WMA / M4A, RealAudio or polyphonic tones. The battery of the Nokia N 95 is the BL – 6 F 1200 mAh (BL – 5 F 950 mAh for N95-1) with a talking time of up to 160 min (WCDMA) or up to 240 min (GSM) and a stand by time of up to 200 hours (WCDMA) or 225 hours (GSM). Enjoy it!
