One of the older models of cell phones from Nokia is the Nokia 3585, and for today we’ll discuss more about the Nokia 3585 battery. This phone can use only the BLC 2 battery, so be careful at this in case you have this phone and want to change its battery. In order to install a new one simply remove the back cover and then insert the battery with the label side up and the metal battery contacts aligned with the contact prongs on the phone.

Then replace the cover by sliding it carefully over the whip antenna downward until you hear a click. In order to charge it, connect it to an AC wall outlet by connecting the lead from the charger in the charging port (this is located on the bottom of the phone). When the indicator bar from the phone stops scrolling, simply disconnect the charger from the phone and also from the AC outlet. When you use the battery for the first time it is recommended to charge it for a period of 24 hours before using it. Be careful to not leave the battery connected to a charger for more than 72 hours because this can shorten the lifetime of the battery.

When removing the battery be careful and use only your hands – do not puncture, burn or use objects that may damage the battery. After you don’t use it anymore, be sure to recycle it or dispose it properly. When you want to remove it, be sure that the phone is turned off, and then wait for 10 seconds. Remove the back cover from the phone, and then place your index finger in the space found at the bottom of the battery. Then press toward the top and take it out. Also be sure to recharge the battery only with a charger approved by Nokia. When it is charging you can still use the phone and make phone calls, but in case it is fully discharged you may need to wait for a few minutes for it to charge, and only then use it. When it is discharged it may take a few minutes for the indicator to appear on the screen. The charging time depends on the charger and battery that you have. A good advice to make it lasts for longer would be to fully discharge if from time to time.

So here was some information about the Nokia 3585 battery and we hope it was useful. Have a nice day!
