Here is the new Linux-based 3G cell phone priced under $100, announced by NXP Semiconductor and Purple Labs.
Purple Magic cell phone is featuring video telephony, music playback, high-speed Internet connection and video streaming, being categorized as an entry-level model based on the NXP Nexperia Cellular System Solution 7210 for 3G and on the Purple Labs Linux suite.

You will be able to see it exposed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, between February 11 and 14.
