Samsung J600E is a slider cell phone announced in spring 2007 and available in stores at a low price of around $140, providing basic functionalities such as MP3 player, photo call, USB connectivity, GPRS, FM radio, voice command and card slot for additional external memory.
It is also a quality camera phone integrating a 1.3 mega pixel sensor, video recording and being capable of capturing images at a high-resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels.
As all the other built-in mid-level digital cameras with no image stabilizer or high sensitivity, this cell phone model from Samsung captures clear images in almost any light condition, but not with a high sharpness level. This is an example of picture taken with the J600.

You still can rely on it when you need to take fast shots on the go, and besides this, it looks very stylish coming in this always modern glossy blue finish. Of course, there are other colors available, like classic black, red or silver.
It sports a chrome metallic trim, touch sensitive keys, and a design line that gives the impression it tends to narrow at the top and bottom. The handset measures 97 x 44 x 15 mm at a weight of 85 grams.
Samsung J600E is a good mobile communication solution using different applications like text messaging, email, Instant Messaging, HTML browsing for Internet web pages, and the uTrack, which is a tool you could set to alert you with an SMS message, in case it detects that the SIM card was changed. This way the chance to recover your lost or stolen cell phone increases. Also, it can send SOS messages in case of an emergency. The uTrack is included among uPlus phone’s capabilities.

The display measures 1.9 inches in diagonal and is a TFT with 65K colors and a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels.
Although it has vibration, it doesn’t come with the Silent mode, needed when you are in a meeting or sleeping, but other features raise its quality level, and here we have: 1000-entries phone book, 20MB internal memory, Bluetooth for wireless transfers, PC connectivity to upload your favorite media, Java, voice memo, and a 800mAh Li-Ion battery providing up to 3 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby.

Samsung J600E is not one of the high-end camera phones but it is a great mobile device for basic tasks including taking pictures on the go.
It is available as J600E in Russia and as J600 in other countries.

Remember I was telling you about 2 Samsung cell phones with Dual SIM capability, from which the D880 Duos was released first and D780 Duos came after in Russia? Samsung D780 Duos was released at half price the D880 Duos, because it provides less features compared with the first model released on the market, and both are very popular in Russia. So popular that Samsung D780 Duos became the official phone of Russia’s Olympic team and am I am referring at the gold-plated version.
It keeps the same features including the bar design, a 2.1-inch display, MP3 player, up to 2GB memory support, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Internet browsing, email, a built-in 2MP camera, stereo FM radio, mobile printing, document viewer and, of course, the Dual SIM capability. It also allows the user talk up to 3 hours.

The standard model costs around $300, while the gold-plated version sports the logo of the Olympic Games.
