Together with the announcement of its new music mobile service, Cingular has launched a compatible phone, the Samsung SGH-A707 aka Cingular SYNC, a phone having a Cingular Music dedicated key that will instantly connect the user to the Cingular Music portal, a place from where he (or she) has easy access to every type of music he may desire to listen.
The quad band GSM mobile phone will work on 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks and will also be compatible with 3G UMTS/HSPDA (on 850 and 1900 MHz networks), at the same time being capable of delivering super high data transfer speeds with the help of the EDGE/GPRS connectivity feature.
Being a true multimedia phone, the Cingular SYNC will have external touch sensitive music keys, an MP3 player, a microSD expansion memory card slot to give the user enough storage space for all his favorite multimedia content, wireless Bluetooth 2.0 which comes with stereo support, a 262k colors 2.2 inch QVGA display with a 320x240 pixels resolution, a speakerphone, a 2 megapixel digital camera with flash.
This phone will be available in the Cingular stores at a 49.99 $ price if you sign a two year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate of 100 $.
Samsung announced their full Le Fleur series, which represents a stylish trio of elegant mobiles targeted specifically at women. The three handsets are the new Samsung E570 and Samsung E420, as well as the Samsung E500 which is already officially released. The Le Fleur series is a continuation of the Samsung concept that a woman should have an expressive, feminine mobile to suit her style. This concept was born back in the day with the first feminine mobile Samsung A400, and later on revived with Samsung E530, Samsung E410, Samsung T500 among others.

The Korean Electronic Show 2006 held earlier this month showcased most of the gadgets from Samsung. This phone too comes from Samsung which was exhibited during the show. The Samsung SCH-B500 or Slim&J is a 13.5mm thick CDMA slider phone. And as its a Korea phone, it has to include DMB (Satellite). Other than that, it has a 2.2-inch TFT LCD display, 2 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth, microSD slot, playing with my pet (seems like a game), EVDO, TV-out and VOD/MOD service.
Of course, no news on global availability or pricing of the Samsung SCH-B500
The Italian operator TIM is about to release a new mobile phone Samsung SGH-P930, which supports HSDPA high-speed data transfer standard and DVB-H mobile TV standard.
The phone is equipped with a rotating QVGA (240x320x262K color) display. There are a 2 megapixel camera, an MP3-player and stereo speakers, Bluetooth and USB interfaces. There is 20 MB of memory onboard extended with a slot for memory cards. In addition to 3G networking it can work under GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) networks, including EDGE. There is an extra camera for video telephony.
Measuring 107x49.2x19.7 mm it weighs 119 g. Its Li-Ion 950 mAh battery ensures up to 120 minutes of talks and up to 200 hours standby.
