The Samsung Z650i is a 3G sliding i-mode phone, and it comes with a QVGA (320x240 pixel display), a 2 megapixel camera and expandable memory (although unlike the long overdue or possibly cancelled Z600, this isn't a smartphone).
At 95 grams, the Samsung Z650i is pretty lightweight for a 3G phone, and it still manages to pack a full set of features in, such as stereo Bluetooth, microSD expandable memory, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, an MP3/AAC player, web browser and email client and everything else you'd expect to find.
The new Helio Drift slider phone made by Samsung has been announced and is available for $225. The GPS enabled phone has a large 2.12″ QVGA display for looking at maps. The device also features Bluetooth, 128 MB of internal memory, microSD and USB support, and a 2 megapixel video capable camera with digital zoom. A great looking phone, just what we can expect from Helio.
Some time ago we presente the Samsung SCH-B600, the world's first phone equipped with an impressive 10 megapixel camera phone. Today, ministryoftech brought to our attention a very cool video presentation of the phone. Here it is:
Mobilegazette presented some nice pics of the new Samsung X520, which is a low-cost an lightweight clamshell phone with a fairly basic feature set, wrapped up in an attractive and boldly designed package.
The Samsung X520 has a 128x160 pixel display in 65k colors, a VGA camera, however no Bluetooth, expandable memory or MP3 player, just an FM-radio. So a really basic entry-level phone.
Its main, and most likely only quality is a very attractive look, different from most other Samsungs. The SGH-X520's bold two-colour design is simple enough, but quite striking to look at. The specifications are certainly nothing to write home about, but it's a nice looking device and as it only weighs 78 grams, it's very lightweight too.
The inexpensive price tag could make the Samsung X520 a quite a popular phone for prepay/pay-as-you-go customers, and it will most likely be available in some regions in time for Christmas.
Together with the announcement of its new music mobile service, Cingular has launched a compatible phone, the Samsung SGH-A707 aka Cingular SYNC, a phone having a Cingular Music dedicated key that will instantly connect the user to the Cingular Music portal, a place from where he (or she) has easy access to every type of music he may desire to listen.
The quad band GSM mobile phone will work on 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks and will also be compatible with 3G UMTS/HSPDA (on 850 and 1900 MHz networks), at the same time being capable of delivering super high data transfer speeds with the help of the EDGE/GPRS connectivity feature.
Being a true multimedia phone, the Cingular SYNC will have external touch sensitive music keys, an MP3 player, a microSD expansion memory card slot to give the user enough storage space for all his favorite multimedia content, wireless Bluetooth 2.0 which comes with stereo support, a 262k colors 2.2 inch QVGA display with a 320x240 pixels resolution, a speakerphone, a 2 megapixel digital camera with flash.
This phone will be available in the Cingular stores at a 49.99 $ price if you sign a two year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate of 100 $.
