Ukraine was the host of a Samsung’s presentation, where the top cell phones manufacturer has exposed to the large public, several models from which two are new, and set for release at the beginning of the next year.
The touch-sensitive Samsung F490 (third model from left to right) and the clamshell Samsung P720 (fifth model from left to right) integrate the latest mobile phone technologies and are expected with impatience by all Samsung design fans.
The F490 has a large display of 3.2 inches and a screen resolution of 240 x 432 pixels with touch-sensitive surface based on the haptic technology, which senses your finger’s touch without the need to press.
As all phone manufacturers are orienting to 5MP camera phones, Samsung makes no exception and integrates the built-in foto/video device into its latest models.
For these reasons, the starting price of $600 is justified.
And here comes the P720 which is actually the well known Samsung P520 Giorgio Armani but with Dual Sim functionality to work with two Sim cards simultaneously.
The rest of the features of this model include a built-in 3MP camera without autofocus, a touch-sensitive QVGA display, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microSD slot.
Samsung will release the P720 in Eastern Europe and Asia.
Its price is not known yet but we’re all wondering if it’ll be more expensive than Samsung Duos Dual Sim released in Russia a couple of months ago, a phone available at $700.
