Those of you that have a Samsung BlackJack from AT&T and live in the US can now upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 via the online downloading service from Samsung.
Advancing from Windows Mobile 5 to the 6th version of the popular operating system will bring more powerful applications for a powerful handset like BlackJack including keeping records of your contacts in Outlook Mobile, browse the Internet and writing documents in Word and Excel in order to view and analyze them with PowerPoint.
With this upgrade BlackJack's user will get support for HTML e-mail formats to be able to send messages with links, images and symbols, while having access to entertainment features and powerful business applications boosted up by the 3G BroadbandConnect network.
Other features include an MP3 player, a built-in 1,3MP camera with video recording capability and the stereo Bluetooth support for headsets.

The North American version of Samsung F490 is released by Sprint under the name SPH-M800.
It is considered one of the iPhone killers because of its full touch sensitive technology adopted for the user interface showing a 16:9 display of 3.2 inches.
Unlike the F490 with a 5MP camera sensor, M800 integrates a 2MP camera and EV-DO Rev. A support for high speeds during Internet browsing, as well as access to Sprint T, Music Store, Navigator GPS and other Sprint exclusive services.
The Bluetooth wireless connectivity features A2DP for stereo headsets.

There wasn’t made public any information regarding the price or availability yet.

This is the latest cell phone released by Softbank with two built-in cameras, the 5MP one with CMOS sensor for capturing photos and a 3MP one for video conference.
The slider camera phone is named 920SC and features Xenon flash, 3x optical zoom, red eye correction, face recognition and auto focus.
Bluetooth and infrared are the technologies used in connectivity, while it comes also with GPS capability.
920SC is a powerful phone showing a 2.4-inch self-luminous organic EL display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and capable of 26 million colors.
It has support for WCDMA and GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz bands while providing a 3G speed of 3.5Mbps for transfers.
With a microSD card type you can add up to 2 GB of extra memory to store all your high resolution pictures taken with the camera phone.
Other cool features include the music player, QR Code Reader, PC Site Browser, S! Quick News, Yahoo! Mocoa, and S! Circle Talk.
The camera phone measures 52×101.5×18.9mm, weights 129g and you can work on it for up to 3h30min until the next recharge.

It will be available in the following 2-color combinations: black-red, white-white, white-turquoise, and black-black.
We will have the pleasure to meet this model on January 12 when it will be released on the market.

Samsung FlipShot released by the company recently and offered through Verizon Wireless is also known as Samsung U900 and uses a cool twisting design to snap photos, with a screen capable to rotate at 180 degrees.

When rotated at 180 degrees, the screen becomes a high-resolution 3MP camera with flash, autofocus, zoom and photo editing software.

In its normal shape, the CDMA phone measures 96 x 46 x 19 mm and it’s QVGA TFT display is of 240 x 320 mm.
It uses microSD slot type for extra memory, Bluetooth connectivity, business card reader, music player, IM, E-mail, TV out function, EV-DO, and the special services from Verizon Wireless.

The clamshell uses a Li-Ion battery that works for up to 4 hours until the next recharge.
