Sony Ericsson Z750a
Posted by: CameraPhonesPlaza in Sony Ericsson
Looking almost similar to the Z610, the Sony Ericsson Z750a, announced in September 2008 at a price of $220, comes with many improvements which make the device suitable for more people than the first model. The Z750a comes with the same design dedicated especially for women and as we said, many improvements (for example, the Z750a has Quad-Band GSM / EDGE and Tri-Band UMTS / HSDPA connectivity, GPS support and integrated Google Maps). In the standard package the phone comes with a charger, a battery, a USB cable a memory card and the usual software CD and manuals.

The Sony Ericsson Z750a comes with a classic clamshell form and a case made of resistant plastic beautiful covered with a glossy finish. The case has rounded edges and corners and the phone appears to be very solid. Even if the standard color of the case is Rose Pink you can choose between three other colors like Phantom Grey, Mysterious Purple and Platinum Silver. The unit measures 97.4 x 49 x 20 mm in dimensions and 110 grams in weight so it feels very comfortable in your hands and fits great in any pocket. When it is closed, on the external face you will notice a secondary OLED display with a native resolution of 36 x 128 pixels designed to show you information about signal and battery levels, caller ID, new messages, date and time. Above the display a 2 Megapixel camera is placed. On the sides of the phone you will find a volume rocker, some music keys, a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot and a fast port (which allows you to charge the phone, attach headphones or connect it to a PC via USB).

If you open the phone you will see a TFT display and a classic numerical pad. The numerical pad is excellent for writing messages. The keys are large and offer a comfortable writing experience. These keys are also covered with a pleasant to touch finish and thanks to their large size you will not make any mistakes by pressing the wrong keys. Above the numerical pad some navigation buttons are placed: two soft keys, a D-Pad, the Call and End keys, a shortcut key, a clear key and a Web button.

When it comes to technology, the Sony Ericsson Z750a makes a nice impression. The internal display is a TFT one with 2.2 inches in diagonal and a native resolution of 240 x320 pixels. It supports 256K colors and offers great quality images with sharp colors and good contrast. A spectacular aspect is that it remains visible even under direct sunlight. The camera integrated on this cell phone has a 2 Megapixel sensor and it is capable of taking pictures at a maximum resolution of 1600 x1200 pixels and record QVGA clips at a speed of 15 fps. The internal memory of this cell phone has 32 MB of free space. If it is not enough for you, there is a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot which can extend the memory up to 2 GB. If you are worried about connectivity, the Z750a comes with Bluetooth, USB, GPS and support for GMS, GPRS, EDGE and 3G. The battery is a Li-Po 930 mAh one and manages to keep the unit on for 3 hours and 30 minutes of conversations and up to 350 hours in standby mode.
