Sony Ericsson Clementine
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Sony Ericsson
Concepts are meant to make our lives more exciting than it already is, maybe because they are designed to show us how the future will look like. And you know that future is something that we have no idea about, which makes us a little bit insecure. This is why a small hint that has an even smaller connection with the future is more than welcome.

In the given context, here is what WhiteEye from Esato has prepared for each and everyone of us: a Sony Ericsson concept called Clementine. The clamshell comes with some innovative features, such as the format, which is based on “folders”, making the rotation of the display much easier that it usually is. This is why the Clementine is also known under the name of 3FOLDERSTYLE.

The concept phone is a device that is part of the mid-end range and it boasts the BRAVIA technology and support for DVB-H TV.

As for the list of specs, here we go: GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 850/1900/2100 (no more than 7.2 Mbps) networks, a 2.8 inches TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and the RealityMAX engine, a 1.5 inch organic EL subdisplay with a resolution of 108 x 128 pixels (this one has a reflective surface), a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, photo flash, face detection and smile shutter, an internal antenna, designed to be compatible with the DVB-H TV reception, touch-sensitive keys for music playback (but they can also be used for TV broadcast), a memory stick micro slot and AccuWeather support.

But, as I said before, the Clementine is just a concept, so it’s very difficult to say whether it will ever hit the market or not. Let’s hope it will.
