Well, as you might have noticed, lately we've been busy refreshing cameraphonesplaza's look. By coincidence the launch of this new look came in the first day of spring. So we could say this is a new beginning for us. We would also like to thank our readers, which stood by us in the short time this site has been "alive" and helped us growing this site and getting it better and we hope you will keep reading us in the future. But enough talking...it's time to get back to work! :)

VITO Technology has released the first universal remote control for Windows Mobile Smartphones. With the software, the company says you can replace all your TV, Video, Home Theater and other remote controls.
Users teach their Microsoft-based smartphone all the commands from their original remotes by placing the handset and a remote next to each other with infrared ports facing, and then simply pressing a button on the smartphone and the remote.
VITO Remote for Smartphones sells for $15.95. The program has been available for the Pocket PC for some time now.

Some photos have leaked out which appear to show a new watch from Tag Heuer that can make calls and play MP3s, alongside its regular timekeeping duties. Presumably, this involves wireless connection to a Bluetooth headset, which would solve the embarrassment problem (well, partly). It's claimed that Paris design firm ModeLabs is working with Tag Heuer on the device.

Last week we announced you that LG and Prada will make an interesting partnership and release a new phone. The handset will be based off the upcoming LG KE850 and does not have a keypad, sporting instead a touch screen display, but unlike the touch display on the LG Chocolate, which was just a couple of fixed buttons that lit up, the Prada display will change according to the application on the screen.

The newly launched service, called MySpace Mobile, is exclusive to Cingular and provides its users with direct access to the MySpace website.
Customers can obtain the MySpace Mobile application by texting the word MYSPACE to 386 ("FUN") from their mobile phone. The new service will cost $2.99 per month plus applicable data charges. Additionally, Cingular customers can opt to receive MySpace Mobile text message alerts that notify them when a post occurs to their MySpace page.
