The cell phone is rugged being certified to military standards for dust, shock and vibration, and these without looking as a rugged heavy model at all, weighting 2.8 ounces at 4 x 1.8 x 0.8 inch dimension.

It supports 1900 MHz and 800 MHz bands, sports a 1.2 x 1.5-inch display of 65K colors, and can operate for up to 5 hours of talk time thanks to the 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Sprint will offer it at a price of $69.99 with a 2-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate.

This summer Sprint is preparing to launch a range of new cell phones from different manufacturers and destined to various sectors, from rugged models to slim and stylish clamshells.
Though, these cell phones will have a common feature – the instant access to Nextel Direct Connect’s push-to-talk community.

We will focus on four of the phones that will be released first, and here we have the LX400 by LG with a built-in 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS tracking and noise reduction technology, the Z400 by Samsung featuring a rugged design, shock-resistant housing, built-in 1.3MP camera, Sprint Navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, the Z700 by Samsung equipped with a 2MP camera, Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, stereo Bluetooth, microSD memory expansion slot, and dedicated music keys, and Motorola V950, a resistant and modern clamshell coming with stereo Bluetooth, a built-in 2MP camera, GPS, Sprint Music Store access, dedicated music controls and Sprint TV.

Sprint unveiled two brand new cell phones with push-to-talk capability and Sprint’s high-speed Mobile Broadband network access.

The Sanyo Pro 200 handset is a clamshell-style model measuring 4 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches at 3.4 ounces, sporting a main 1.2 x 1.5-inch display of 65K colors, with Bluetooth, email, and is powered by a standard 1050mAh Li-Ion battery which lasts up to 4.9 hours of talk time.
