HTC Hero or T-Mobile G2 Touch?
Posted by: Maria Mihale in HTC, T-Mobile
Since the first time we saw the HTC Hero, in all sorts of leaked pictures and details, we’ve all been waiting for the device to finally come out, as it was said to be an Android-based HTC phone. The excitement of customers was doubled when the manufacturer announced the full support for the Adobe Flash Platform that will be included in the smartphone.

The device was launched by Orange in the United Kingdom, under the name we all knew very well, HTC Hero. But it seems that the same device is now available via T-Mobile under a different name. It is called T-Mobile G2 Touch.

Even if the list of features was at your disposal, just in case you were curious about it, let me refresh your memory. The Hero comes with a 3.2 inch HVGA touch sensitive display, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, the Android operating system 1.5, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3.5mm headset jack.
The HTC Hero is the third HTC handset to be equipped with the Android platform, but for T-Mobile UK is only the second to be sold. Now, if you’re interested in buying the phone, you can get it for free, but you’ll have to sign a contract agreement for a year and a half (18 months) with a monthly plan that shouldn’t be less than £35.
