Motorola is an active mobile manufacturer and has come up recently with some powerful smartphones. But even back in the days, Motorola had success with their slim profile mobile phones. Getting these recent smartphones unlocked costs you a lot, so the solution would be to choose a service provider. Verizon is one of the most popular and used one, so you can follow these Verizon Motorola cell phones that will be presented below. Motorola Droid Bionic has been declared as being one of the best smartphones so far. With a two-year contract at Verizon you can get it for $299.99. But not only the phone is expensive, the accessories as well. For instance, if you want the laptop dock accessory, you need to pay other $299.99, but you get $100 off if you choose the $50 data plan per month.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

This mobile phone has everything you need inside and packs the features you need time to adjust as well. For instance, the dual-core processor is inside, Verizon 4G LTE support, plenty multimedia features to satisfy every media user and not only that, but corporate and business features are included, such as Webtop application and enterprise abilities. The 4.3” qHD display is a beauty and it pretty large, so you can easily use your device to watch some movies while you are on the road, or browse through full HTML browser, read some books and so on. Not to mention that with the use of Android Market, you can get tons of games and applications, just what you need to fill up the memory and your day. The phone is not cheap with all means and even with a contract at Verizon; you still have to consider your budget. But as smartphones these days replace a pocket computer with ease, you can combine the two and have only the phone to handle multiple applications and tasks at once. The interface is powered by Android 2.3, so you have the usual menus to browse through, the social network widgets and customizable home screens.

Motorola Droid Razr is among the other Verizon smartphones. With a two year contract you can buy it at $299.99, while the retail price is settled at $649.99, with no discounts or online rebates. The phone is available on both black and white, it has an ultra-slim design, so you can place it in your pocket, reinforced case, for a more durable experience, compatible with Verizon 4G LTE network, 1.2 GHz processor and a 4.3” Super AMOLED Advanced display, just like the one you saw on Samsung Galaxy S II. The camera has 8 megapixels and the front facing HD webcam is great for making video calls with your loved ones or with your colleagues at work. If you don’t want these advanced phones and you feel not up to them, but still a big fan of the touch screen experience, then put your hands on Motorola Citrus, which was pre-owned, but Verizon offers it for free with a two year contract. It runs on Android 2.1, has a 3 megapixels camera, 3” screen TFT, supporting 262K colors and a virtual keyboard. There are seven customizable home screens and a lot of pre-loaded widgets for you to enjoy and most importantly, it has Wi-Fi.

Verizon Motorola cell phones are available for every user, no matter the budget or the needs

Buying unlocked smartphones can make you break the bank, because let’s face it; some smartphones have the price of a budget laptop computer. This is why most can’t afford getting one no matter what and no matter how desired these gadgets are. But there is one way you can handle a reasonable price, getting them as prepaid. You can choose among various service providers and you can make your final call depending on the smartphone you want and the service plan that is more convenient for you. Verizon smartphones are among the best and the latest, because you can find the fin al releases so far. You can sign up for a two-year contract and pay as you go. You pay a smaller amount of money for the mobile phone, but you pay a monthly fee depending on the plan you choose, for how many minutes you want included, internet traffic, voice and so on.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

Samsung Galaxy Nexus matches the power of Android Ice Cream Sandwich and the Verizon LTE network, resulting in a powerful headset with top notch performance and beautiful design. But as the version of Android is new, there are some tweaks that need some time to get used to. The 5 megapixels camera isn’t one of the greatest, but this is a premium smartphone that focuses on performance and features. Samsung Galaxy S II is available at major carriers, except Verizon and we know the reason now, Nexus takes over and comes with some well desired additions. You can get the phone for as low as $189.99. If you want a budget smartphone and prefer actually to pay nothing for it, just the service plan, you can find Samsung Illusion. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a 3 megapixels camera, smaller size, but being oriented to midrange users, they don’t mind the ease of use and the compact shape. You still benefit of Android OS and the applications and games available and also the 3.5” HVGA display boosted is a nice addition.

Not bored by Samsung so far? Then you might like Samsung Stratosphere, with a low price as far as $139.99. The notable feature here is the sliding QWERTY keyboard, perfect for those who can’t manage to type using the keyboard on-screen. It has Wi-Fi, a decent 5 megapixels camera, LTE support, has business tools which go very well with the ease of typing thanks to the keyboard. But let’s move on, as Samsung is not the only mobile manufacturer worth talking about. Motorola Droid Razr is one of the best smartphones released this year. It has powerful features, among which we can note the light and sleek design, 4.3” Super AMOLED Advanced display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and lots of multimedia to please any media fan. With blazing speed, winning design and plentiful features, this is surely one winning phone.

The iPhone 4S is available on both black and white at Verizon and the lowest price for it is $199.99. It comes with some improvements, such as an updated OS, fun voice assistant, good call quality and fast data speed, but not 4G. It doesn’t boost a larger display, but it is part of the company’s legacy despite everything. Finally, HTC Rezound boosts a stunning 4.3” 720p HD display, dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, high quality 8 megapixels camera with dual LED flash, fast 4G speeds.

The smartphone market is in a continuous change. Today we have some examples in the list, as some smartphones are released and reviewed, but perhaps if you check back in a couple of weeks, you will see other advanced phones taking the lead. This is a good thing in a way, because you will always have where to choose from, you will always be impressed with what technologies they will come up and with features to blow your mind. But there are disadvantages as well. Think that today you have the latest smartphone and you are thrilled and proud of it, but just after a little while, another one comes to town and you are dethroned. It is hard to keep up and moreover, it is definitely expensive. But let’s see the best Verizon smartphone at this moment, just in case you are looking for some improvements.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

HTC Rezound is at this moment, the top phone for Verizon customers. It provides a stunning 4.3” 720p HD display, 8 megapixels camera with dual LED flash, a 2 megapixels camera in the front, Verizon 4G LTE support and Beats Audio algorithm designed to improve the audio performance. But because we are dealing with such a large phone, some might consider it too bulky and confuse it with a tablet, as the difference in size is just considerably larger. When it comes to performance and multimedia features, everything is to admire at this latest HTC smartphone. The touch screen is capacitive and it is very responsive, thanks also to the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor. With HTC Sense 3.5, you get a new look for the display and instant access to your favorite applications. Among other innovative features, it is also worth mentioning the three-dimensional home screen carousel; new widgets and you can add and remove home screen panels, so you can have up to seven home screens.

Moreover, Monster Beats brand has its implication in this mobile phone in two ways: an included pair of Monster Beats in-ear headphones (red cable, multiple ears fitting and so, microphone) with excellent quality and the software button located in the notifications pull-down while you are listening to music. But note that the button is not available in other multimedia applications. If you feel impressed by the sound description and that might be the main reason why you are considering buying the phone, you should reconsider. You can obtain high-quality sound with other smartphones if you get some great headphones. And let’s move on and see more features; the OS of HTC Rezound is Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, with plenty user interface improvements and support for Google applications and services. As for the 8 megapixels camera on the back, it takes excellent photos and you will surely be impressed.

At this moment, this is the best Verizon smartphone, but note that opinions are different and some might disagree. To try and satisfy everyone, we can also include here Motorola Droid Razr, with a super slim design, blazing speed and plenty of multimedia features as well. Also, the release of Apple’s iPhone 4S was strongly advertised, but the phone was not so impressing, because it doesn’t provide a larger screen and 4G. Still, with its iOS 5 and spectacular camera, it is suited for anyone who wants an upgrade.

When it comes to technology, the Storm2 is equipped with many powerful features. It comes with a 3.25 inches TFT capacitive touch screen with a native resolution of 360 x 480 pixels, an integrated 3.15 Megapixel camera armed with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and image stabilization, 2 GB of internal memory with the possibility to extend it up to 16 GB with a microSD card. For connectivity, the Storm2 offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS and support for GSM, GPRS, EDGE and 3G networks.

Another impressive smart phone available through Verizon is the HTC Google Nexus One. This amazing smart phone is available at a price of $179 and it offers you the most common high-end features in a slim and light handset. One of the most attractive aspects of this HTC smart phone is the display. Being a 3.7 inches AMOLED capacitive touch screen, this display is capable of showing a native resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The Nexus One comes also with a powerful 5 Megapixel camera armed with autofocus, LED flash, smile detection and geo-tagging, 512 MB of internal memory (maximum 32GB thanks to the microSD card slot), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS and support for GSM, GPRS, EDGE and 3G networks. Anyway, having such a lot of features, this smart phone needs a powerful processor to keep up with all this performance. For that, the Nexus One comes with the most powerful processor used on a mobile phone ever: QualComm Snapdragon QSD82501 1 GHz.

For those people who have a limited budget, one of the best Verizon smart phones available at a low price is the Palm Pixi Plus. With a price of $99 this smart phone will amaze you with its performances. At a first look, the Palm Pixi Plus looks like a regular “candy-bar” handset having 111 x 54.9 x 10.9 mm in dimensions and 107.7 grams in weight. The Pixi Plus comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.63 inches TFT capacitive touch screen which has a native resolution of 320 x 400 pixels and support for 256K colors and an integrated 2 Megapixel camera armed with autofocus, LED flash and geo-tagging.

To make a great impression, this smart phone comes with 8 GB of internal memory, a powerful Qualcomm MSM7627 600 MHz processor and many connectivity features: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS and support for GSM, GPRS, EDGE and 3G with HSDPA 7.2 Mbps.

The HTC Snap has already been customized by the most important American providers like Sprint (HTC Snap S511) and T-Mobile USA (Dash 3G), so it’s Verizon’s turn to give its customers the device. We have seen their very own version of the HTC Snap several times before and we all know that the name that it will have in the market is going to be HTC Ozone.

However, this time we have more information at our disposal, like the full list of features and specs. Being presented as a global handset, the Ozone runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, which makes it part of the smartphones family.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The new Verizon phone comes equipped with dual band 1xRTT/EV-DO Rev. A, quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a SIM card provided with Global Support Kit, GPS functionality, Wi-Fi, and access to the Verizon Navigator service.

Other features refer to a 2.4 inches QVGA display which is not touch sensitive, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, a full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, voice command, Mobile Broadband Connect and Visual Voicemail support, 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, a microSDHC card slot for expandable memory of no more than 16GB.

The 1500 mAh battery provides up to 290 minutes of talk time and up to 324 hours of stand-by time. The new Verizon phone measures 4.5 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches and weighs 3.7 ounces. It seems that the Ozone will become available starting June 29th or July 13th.

The American people cannot complain about the cell phone market existent in their country, because there are many powerful carriers that are eager to satisfy their needs at a maximum level of performance. So it’s no wonder that June 5th is going to be a very busy day for the guys over Verizon who announced the introduction of LG enV Touch in their line of products.

But it seems there will be one more South Korean phone to hit the American market on the same day and it will be sold by Verizon also. The phone will be called LG Glance VX7100 and it won’t be much more impressive than the enV Touch, but Verizon sure hopes that it will bring a significant number of customers.

The slim candybar has a cover that looks like being very exquisite and expensive, even if it’s not made of expensive materials.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The features include a 2 inch QVGA display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, CDMA 1xRTT connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, and 2.5mm headset jack. It measures 4.31 x 1.87 x 0.38 millimeters and weighs 2.92 ounces, while the battery provides no more than 350 hours of stand-by time.

As for the price, you should know that the Samsung VX7100 is expected to be sold for approximately $50 ($49.99, to be more precise), but only if you’re willing to sign a 2 year contract agreement. The price is what you get after a $50 mail-in rebate. The retail price, on the other hand, is of $219.99.

According to Wikipedia, Verizon Navigator, also known as VZ Navigator, “is a GPS navigation software for Verizon Wireless phones that turns the phone into a GPS navigation device. It is a white label product based on Networks in Motion’s AtlasBook mobile navigation platform. It is compatible with many recent Verizon GPS phones, and available through Get It Now. It uses both GPS and cellular antennas through Assisted GPS”.

Because VZ Navigator has reached that point where it had to be somehow improved in order to be even more successful than it already is, the company decided to make it… global. Because you know that globalization is one of the main directions these days.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

Therefore, here we have the global version of the Verizon Navigator, which gives you the possibility to find the locations you’re looking for or to have an easy access to turn-by-turn directions not only in the North American continent, but also in the Western Europe.

The countries included are the following: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The customers who decide to use the software can choose between two default languages, English and Spanish, and two different ways of marking distances, miles or kilometers.

The VZ Navigator Global is available for an amount of $19.99 per month, but it will be found on the Storm 8530, the BlackBerry phone that you all know very well.

The Samsung Alias 2, which is also known as Samsung U750, was first seen in the last couple of days of March (this year, of course), but at that moment no one knew enough details about it, and the release date was no exception.

Rumors circulating the web these days say that the Samsung Alias 2 is expected to be introduced in the market on May 11, via Verizon Wireless. More than that, according to the source of these rumors, the guys over Phone Arena, the device is said to come, just like we all assumed in the first place, with the e-ink technology.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The Magic Key keypad of the Samsung Alias 2 is based on the electronic ink technology, which helps it convert the standard keypad, an alphanumeric one, into a full QWERTY one. It only depends on the way you open the flip phone. The different keypad can be seen in the pictures.

According to Verizon Wireless, the device comes with the following features: the QWERTY keypad, the Magic Key keypad with e-ink technology, a 2.6 QVGA display, a 2.0 megapixel camera, dedicated hot keys that give the user the chance to access the most used features by one-touch, Bluetooth, text messaging, voicemail, voice commands and games.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the price, but we promise to keep you informed.
