Motorola released the Adventure V750 via Verizon Wireless, as a rugged mobile solution with push-to-talk capability for active users who need a durable handset designed to resist in extreme conditions. The two-way push-to-talk communication allows the user to stay in touch with a group of people and see who is available for calling. Using Verizon Wireless’ Evolution-Data Optimized Revision A network, it is able to transfer files at high speeds, in addition to meeting the military specifications for shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, high-temperature storage, high and low temperature operation and altitude.

The Motorola rugged phone is a flip model sporting a 2.2-inch main display and a 1.6-inch external screen, covered in a no-slip layer.
With push-to-talk, users of such enabled mobile handsets can connect instantly to a group of people at a button press, without needing to make separate calls to each of them. It works similar with walkie-talkie and is a half-duplex technology, meaning that while you speak, the other persons have to listen until you press the button again, to stop the sending communication.

Other features provided by Verizon Wireless via the new Motorola rugged phone include the VZ Navigator for getting audible maps with turn-by-turn directions and 14 million points of interest, and the Field Force Manager tool that allows the user to locate, monitor and communicate with the other work colleagues.
