Posted by: Maria Mihale in AT&T, Samsung
More and more, affordable phones, even if they are music centric ones or focused on sending text messages in conditions of high performance, are a dime a dozen these days, because cell phone manufacturers finally understood that creating and hitting the market with such devices can be a solution for their survival.

In the given context, AT&T decided to launch a brand new affordable cell phone, coming from Samsung. Being called a177, the device is a candybar that comes with a QWERTY keyboard andwith cheap cell phone plans given by the American provider to its customers in these times of crisis. The phone is going to be sold on pre-pay, being a GoPhone cell phone.
According to Engadget, the Samsung a177 will come on board with the following features: first of all, the GSM/EDGE connectivity, and last, but not least, a low-end camera (we’re not sure it’s going to be VGA or not), a stylish pattern somewhere on the back of the case. You won’t be dealing with a smartphone, that’s for sure, but you can’t have everything, so that you know.
There’s also a picture involved in this piece of news, which might be a helping hand for those who’d like to make a first impression about the new Samsung cell phone.
As expected, there is no information about the availability of the a177 and the price, but we will keep you informed.
