Good ideas tend to become obsolete as the years pass by, because, when implemented, they turn into common things, and people don’t seem to be interested in reviving them.

This is what happened with the Xpress-on changeable covers that were invented by Nokia for some of their mobile phone models, being the result of the users’ desire to customize their devices. Even if it was a stunning innovation at the time and you could see the covers all over the place, invading all possible spaces, they were soon to be forgotten.



Now, cell phone manufacturers prefer to release cell phones in a wide variety of colors and they don’t bother with the release of new covers for them. But it seems that Samsung decided to take care of this problem, thinking that the revival of such an idea would be perfect for the customers.

And what do they think of? The new Samsung Haptic PoP SCH-W750 touchscreen phone. As far as the features list is concerned, the phone comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, a 3 megapixel camera, a T-DMB receiver and a microSD memory card support, for expandable memory.



The Haptic Pop device will be available with 5 different battery covers that will be included in the package, while other color versions, 11, to be more precise, will be sold from all sorts of shops. Not to mention the fact that every battery come will come with a set of ringtones, wallpapers and ringtones especially designed for it.

Aimed at the Korean market, the Haptic PoP with its colorful Samsung mobile phone covers will be released with a price of approximately $380.
