Cell phone covers are quite important when it comes to making a decision with regard to buying a handset or another. Maybe we don’t realize how important they are when we don’t need a phone, meaning we already have one, but we are to find it in those situations when we can’t decide on the color of the cell phone, for example.



It’s important for each and every person to have the phone of their dreams and for it to be something like a statement about their personality and preferences. This is why we should be thankful for being given the chance to choose the phone with the cover that suits us perfectly.



MetroPCS Communications and Samsung Telecommunications America (also known as Samsung Mobile) have just announced a brand new cell phone, called Samsung Tint or SCH-r420. The device doesn’t surprise anyone with its features, being a simple clamshell. However, it has something to help it stand out of the crowd, two different faceplates that are included in the package, a grey one and a pink one.



The customers can buy additional faceplates which are available in several color versions, such as purple, red and yellow. Other aspects concerning the personalization of the phone refer to the customizable wallpaper, the banner themes and, of course, the fonts.



As for the features, here you have a short list: SMS, MMS, email, IM messaging capabilities, voice recognition, a built-in camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone and ChatLINK, which is a push-to-talk (or PTT) social networking tool similar to a walkie-talkie.

The Samsung Tint is already available for being purchased in all metropolitan areas where you can find the MetroPCS service. The price is still unknown, as it wasn’t announced yet, but we assume it won’t be higher than the price practiced by MetroPCS for other Samsung flip phones.
