Devices powered by Snapdragon for the Koreans
Posted by: Maria Mihale in News
At the beginning of this year, sometime in March, if I remember correctly, I told you about Toshiba TG01 (which you can see in the picture below), a smartphone that was prepared to hit the market as soon as possible, being equipped with the Snapdragon CPU, designed by Qualcomm. The TG01 is one of the two smartphones that are provided with this spcific processor and that are expected to become available this year, along with the Acer F1.

It’s just that I don’t know if one of them is aimed at the Korean market also. However, we have good news for the Koreans: Qualcomm has just announced that there are two devices prepared for them and for them only, both based on the Snapdragon.
To be more precise, the company will soon launch a smartphone and a smartbook that are both compatible with the Snapdragon platform. Now, it’s interesting to know who the manufacturers will be. It seems that the smartbook will be created by a Taiwanese company while the second device, the smartphone, will be produced by a company that is based in
The great news is that Qualcomm assures us of a release of both devices that is going to take place by the end of this year, sometime in the fourt quarter. Unfortunately, we don’t know nothing about the prices.
