€450 Samsung watchphone

When the first rumors about the Samsung S9110 appeared, they were also with reference to the price of the handset, which was expected to be a very high one, due to the fact that the device is actually a touch sensitive watchphone with high-end features.

As it’s far from being a regular phone, the Samsung S9110 reminds us, somehow, of another similar watchphone that managed to create sensation at the beginning of this year, the LG GD910.

The list of features includes a 1.76 inches touch sensitive display which is resistant to scratches, email, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP connectivity, voice recognition and music player. As you can see for yourselves, the body of the watchphone is made of stainless steel and the wrist best of leather.

The new Samsung S9110 measures no more than 11.98 millimeters in thickness and it seems to be the thinnest watchphone that is available right now in the market, all over the world. It might be so, even if we don’t know how thick the GD910 is, to make a comparison.

Rumors say that the French customers will be the first to enjoy the new Samsung watchphone and it’s expected to start selling sometime during this month. The retail price is said to be somewhere around €450, which means no more than $640.
