European Mobile Phone 2007-2008

The slimmest HSDPA mobile phone, Samsung SGH-U700, has recently been awarded the 'European Mobile Phone 2007-2008' by the European Imaging and Sound Association.

Samsung SGH-U700 offers the latest multimedia technology with High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) at 3.6 Mbps, combining these multimedia features with stylish designs. The phone also features a 3.2 megapixel camera in an ultra slim profile and boasts a 2.2" wide TFT LCD wide screen.

The Convergence Panel of EISA voted Samsung's U700 for 'the European Mobile Phone 2007-2008' mainly because of its high speed data communication capability which is 10 times faster than the normal UMTS, and different multimedia features such as audio compression technologies and the 3.2 megapixel camera. Also, the U GO feature was appreciated, which shows a special landmark on the phone's display and changes it automatically wherever users are traveling.
