Fruit Tray Concept
Posted by: Vlad Balan in Concepts
A new crazy mobile phone concept has recently been developed, and while it looks interesting, probably no producer will have the courage of picking it up and using it.
The Fruit Tray concept borrowed its name from the keypad design, the exact element that makes it appealing, with some buttons lowered in level and others elevated, thus resembling a mattress or an egg cardboard. Otherwise, it is a slim, white candybar handset. Although the white case and keypad have nothing to do with fruits, the concept is fresh enough to deserve its name and some attention.
The one behind the concept is Timo Wong, who has not thought about the phone's performances, but only about its design, and even though there are some well developed capabilities that slim phones could provide, the design is the element that will make it work.
The keypad looks relaxing as well, suitable for a thumb massage, as the bumps have high chances of being comfortable. As it usually happens with handset concepts, there are low chances of hitting the market, because even though the sound and look great, they never have the chance of being tested.
No specifications have been added to this concept, so probably it stands little chances to move to the stage of a real product.
