Actually, this cute and pink kids cell phone is the smallest Hello Kitty-branded model on the market measuring just 94 x 35 x 14 mm at 70 grams, and the good news is that even if all popular phones in Japan can’t be found outside Asia, this one is available at Special Phones at just $140. It’s cheap but don’t think it is an entry-level handset, because it has all those basic features of a standard mid-level model, plus the miniature characteristic. It was designed for little girls’ hands, but anyone with such tastes could benefit from its functionalities.
And here we have a built-in digital camera for pictures and video recordings on the go, multimedia player support for music and videos, as well as handwriting recognition, which as you probably already know, you don’t find it enabled in the other low cost handsets on the market.
Like the other products on this website, Hello Kitty small cell phones are made in Asia but the store is located in Estonia, Europe.
The model here is a dual-band 900/800MHz sporting a 1.8-inch screen with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, supporting up to 16000 colors, which displays the menus and applications in Chinese and English.
It plays MP3 and MIDI ringtones, and 3GP and MP4 videos in full screen mode. Children can store up to 2GB of media using external memory, manage documents, browse the Internet via WAP and GPRS, play the 7 pre-loaded games, record their own voice, talk handsfree, enter up to 500 groups of contacts and assign head stickers to them.
The cell phone also supports group message sending, and can be set to flash when there is an incoming message. For security it features the anti-theft trace solution.
It provides up to 250 minutes of talk time and 280 hours of standby.
Special Phones offers the pink cell phone together with 2 batteries, the charger, and one nice Hello Kitty phone bag.

You can get it from here at $109. Look for the "MUSIC & YOUTH PHONES" section for the "Hello Kitty small" model.
It was $140 at the time of writing, now it got cheaper. In the specifications it says it works on the 900 / 1800 MHz frequency bands. After doing some research it seems that these are the frequencies in Philippines.
