Hisense, one of the leading phone manufacturers in China, and Qualcomm MEMS Technologies have announced the description of Hisense C108 cell phone which is the world’s first mobile handset adopting the Qualcomm mirasol display technology, but it will start shipping in China.



The mirasol display is built with an innovative reflective technology that ensures low power consumptions and clear images even in bright-light conditions without requiring backlight.
Mirasol just reflects the light and the specific wavelengths are interfering with each other creating the color.



Hisense C108 candybar is designed to be light weighting almost 80 grams, and using the QSC6010 chipset, showing a 1.2-inch mirasol quality display with128 x 96 pixels resolution, on which the user can see only text such as messages, contacts and the time.



The internal memory is of 8Mb of RAM and 32 Mb ROM and the handset supports multiple languages.
We can’t wait the releasing of Hisense C108 to find out the full specifications and get some pictures.
