How about a Gresso cell phone?

Gresso. Don’t you dare raise that eyebrow! An exclusive luxury cell phones manufacturer. Exclusive and expensive, in the same time, for a pretentious public that doesn’t spare an effort, whether it’s financial or of any kind, in order to impress people. The company is well known all around the world for its stunning creations, genuine works of art.

If you are into such exquisite products, then you must be grateful to be given the latest news in the area: Gresso has recently announced another masterpiece which was released under the name of Gresso Avantgarde Skeleton. Aiming at rousing an incredible revolution, the mobile phone will be available in a limited edition consisting of no more than 15 pieces.

Everything’s precious about the Skeleton. Excuse the proximity of these two antithetical terms, but that’s the way it is. The case, for example, is made of a special titanium alloy, covered with a high-tech ceramic. On the back panel is placed a sapphire glass that is decorated with the company’s logo, which is also covered with 10 micron gold.

As far as the design and the materials being used, there are 23 functional keys and a triangle placed on the front panel that are all made of aircraft steel. Stainless steel is used, on the other hand, for executing the battery cover, which is covered with leather of high-quality. Another impressive feature, that is an invention patented by Gresso, is the magnetic lock the battery cover is equipped with.

The TFT 65K colors display, with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, is made of sapphire crystal glass that was hand polished, while the keyboard is covered with titanium. Another Gresso innovation is the Roman numerals that you can find on this special keyboard, that is brand new on such devices.

Other specs of this Gresso cell phone are the tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900, Windows Mobile 6.0 standard, an internal memory of up to 64MB and expandable memory of up to 2GB with microSD card, WAP, GPRS, Bluetooth 1.2, 2-megapixel camera with a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, video and audio player (the phone supports different formats such as MIDI, WMA, WAV, AVI, ASF, WMV).

Measuring 119.5 x 48 x 14 millimeters and weighing 138 grams, the phone is equipped with a standard Li-ion battery 110mAh, that provides up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. The new Gresso cell phone is priced at 3999 euro, which is pretty much, if you ask me. Way too much, as a matter of fact!
