How to change your attitude concerning the environment?
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Nokia
You all know how important it is for people to act in a more responsible way when it comes to the environment and that it’s only our fault that the world doesn’t seem to be a perfect place to live in anymore. And maybe you would like to take up an attitude, because you’re conscious about the fact that changes are possible only when people decide to join their forces, but you don’t quite know what to do.

Fear no more! Companies from all around the world, in their attempt to gain respect and credibility, are willing to show you how to change your attitude in order to change the world. Take Nokia for example. The Finnish company does more than just being interested in developing green devices. So, it has just launched a new idea, shipping cell phones with their charger.
Those who will decide to order the Nokia N79 Eco, a mobile phone that has the same silhouette as the Nokia N79 Active, with one little exception, that not only distinguishes the device from the Active version, but it also makes it a whole lot greener: it comes without its charger. And if you can’t find the reason why the guys from Nokia came up with such idea, then let me tell you that they have a point: they believe that people “don’t always need another chargerâ€. The idea is for you to keep your old Nokia charger, if you already have one, and continue using it.
Trying on one hand to save energy and, on the other hand, to reduce waste, the Nokia N79 Eco is being shipped in a smaller box that the one used for the Active model. In addition, for every device that is being sold, an amount of £4 is being donated to WWF (the World Wide Fund for Nature, which is an international non-governmental organization).
What’s interesting about this idea is still to come: the Nokia N79 Eco retails at the same price as the regular Nokia N79 that was available on the market until the release of this new one. The price is of about $467. Expensive, but for a good cause.
