HTC Leo with Snapdragon chipset
Posted by: Maria Mihale in HTC
Those who are familiar with the latest rumors about the HTC Leo are probably aware of the fact that it was said to be a clamshell phone. It seems that it won’t be a clamshell, after all, but instead, customers will enjoy a full-touch handset, based on Windows Mobile.

I don’t know if it makes you happy or not, but the phone will come with the Windows Mobile 6.5. More than that, a couple of days ago we found out that the Leo is expected to have the 1GHz MSM 8250 Snapdragon chipset by Qualcomm on board.
The list of features of the HTC Leo is said to include quad band GSM / EDGE connectivity, dual band HSDPA connectivity (900 / 2100 MHz), a 4.3 inches WVGA capacitive touch sensitive display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, GPS and assisted GPS, Wi-Fi, an accelerometer, sensors for light and proximity, 3.5 mm headset jack, 512MB flash memory, 320MB RAM and microSD card slot. The phone measures 121 x 67 x 11 millimeters and comes with a 1230 mAh battery.
The details about the pricing and availability of the HTC Leo are not known for the moment, but the smartphone will probably hit the market sometime during this year, maybe before its end.
