HTC Snap QWERTY keyboard smartphone

Have you dreamed about a brand new HTC QWERTY keyboard smartphone to be presented in the near future? Well, I’m happy to tell you that you’re some very lucky people, because here we have the HTC Snap, a device based on the Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard that was announced during the 2009 edition of the CTIA Wireless.

The features list isn’t meant to impress the customers, so we sure hope that HTC will launch the device with an affordable price. If we were to emphasize the strong points of the Snap, we would mention the full QWERTY keyboard, the HSDPA connectivity, of course, and maybe the battery, which is a 1,500 mAh one. In addition, there’s a new Inner Circle feature which “makes it easy for users to prioritize messages from the most important people in their lives at the press of a buttonâ€.
Therefore, the features this smartphone comes equipped with are the following: a QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, GPS connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 528MHz Qualcomm processor and 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM.

The new QWERTY keyboard smartphone is expected to become available from the second quarter of 2009. And if you’re a North American, then you should worry no more, because the Snap is to come there also. But it seems that it will be differently “baptizedâ€. The new name is said to be HTC S522.
