HTC Touch Diamond2 goes to India

Since my first article on this website and up until the moment I’m writing these words, I’ve had the chance to see that Indian customers are very eager to be informed on the latest apparitions in the cell phone world. I don’t really know how many of them have an interest based on a genuine need or passion, but they proved to be very enthusiastic when it comes to gadgets of all sorts.

In the given context, it’s no wonder companies are trying to satisfy their needs. So here we have a cell phone that is already being sold in countries across Europe and Asia: the HTC Touch Diamond2. The device has just been presented to the Indian market, which has finally been blessed with a high-end smartphone, equipped with Windows Mobile and everything.

The Touch Diamond2 is the successor of the Touch Diamond, of course, and comes with features like a 3.2 inch touch sensitive display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 5 megapixels camera with autofocus, touch focus and VGA video recording capabilities, features that are obviously better than the ones of the first model.

In addition, you’ll be able to enjoy the Push Internet, the latest HTC technology which is said to help users have an easier and faster access to the Web. The list of features continues with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (which can be upgraded to 6.5), GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a touch sensitive zoom bar, the TouchFLO 3D user interface and FM radio with RDS.

The phone is going to be sold unlocked for a price of 29,990 INR, meaning approximately $630.
