I hate Facebook, but I’ll have it on my phone

It seems that shouting out loud how much one hates Facebook or any other social networking website is something like a nice thing to do, which will surely bring the appreciation of everyone else. So, if you’re one of those saying “I hate Facebook and I’m proud of it!”, you probably won’t like the news I’m about to tell you about! But God forbids that you will be caught with the new Facebook application on your phone after saying nasty words about it!

A couple of weeks ago, a version of the famous social networking website was announced for the BlackBerry, called Facebook 1.5, so it was just about time for Microsoft to do something. As a consequence, the company has just introduced a Facebook application that is aimed at the Windows Mobile, versions 6 and 6.1. And it’s official, as you can go to the Microsoft website and download the application from there.

If you’re curious about the new application and what it is able to do, let me tell you that it will allow you to send messages to those who are in your Friends List, to take pictures and videos using your phone and then share them all on Facebook, to call your friend and, of course, to manage your profile anywhere, anytime.

One thing that you should not neglect is the fact that the new Facebook application runs only on devices that are provided with the Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Mobile 6.1. As for the 6.5, it is expected to be able to run the application in the near future.

If you’re interested in having your Facebook account at the tip of your finger, which means you’re not an “I hate Facebook” type of person, then you can go to Microsoft and download it from there.
