Incredible novelties from Nokia at MWC 2009

It didn’t take long for people to forget all about the Consumer Electronics Show which was held some time ago, in January, and they managed to do that by focusing on another highly anticipated event, the Mobile World Congress, which is expected to bring all sorts of unbelievable novelties. This means that the action moves from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Barcelona, where will be the center of the entire universe (metaphorically speaking, of course).

There were quite many rumors about the Nokia E75 messaging phone, as not only pictures, but also some features, leaked on the Internet on many occasions before. We’re sure about the fact that an official announcement will be made in an official context (doh!) and what more appropriate event than the MWC 2009?

However, Expansys makes a very interesting announcement, to say so, listing the most important information one has to know, regarding the features, the pricing and a possible date for the device to start shipping, which is great news, isn’t it?

Therefore, we can find the following features on the board of Nokia E75: a QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera that comes with auto-focus, digital zoom, LED flash, high-resolution VGA video recording capabilities at 30 frames per second QVGA, quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), dual-band WCDMA (900/2100) and HSDPA (3.6 Mbps), Wi-Fi connectivity, Bleutooth 2.0, microUSB, assisted-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm AV connector, DualKeypad Design, Nokia Maps, two different home screens (work and personal) and a microSDHC memory card support.

The 1500 mAh battery that the Nokia E75 comes equipped with provides up to 630 minutes of talk time and up to 408 hours of stand-by time.

As far as the price is concerned, you can buy the E75 from Expanys for £389.99 or for free, in the United Kingdom, with £35 a month T-Mobile Combi 30 + Web N Walk contract (this fee must be paid for 18 months). The phone is expected to start shipping starting March 13th, but for 100% official information and those incredible novelties Nokia has prepared, you’ll have to wait for the MWC 2009.
