iRiver announced to release a new cell phone on the market with a design similar with the popular iPhone.
The GSM phone has a full touch-sensitive navigation display measuring 3 inches and having a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, running on a Linux-based platform.

It features all the basic applications as the iPhone, such as media player and the unlocking slider, and integrates a 2MP camera with video recording capability, as well as 4GB internal memory, a built-in GPS, mobile TV and the Adobe Flash Player to display YouTube short videos.

It is said to include also Wi-Fi support and 3G technology and that it will reach first the European market.

The iRiver cell phone will be released until the end of this year and we are all curious to see if it’ll beat the iPhone.
