Latest Motorola Cell Phones

How is it that we just can’t seem to get enough of mobile phones? We want more and more models; we always want to be impressed, to have the latest stuff or just to see what the manufacturers will come up with in the end. The latest Motorola cell phone is Motorola Gleam, which is an affordable headset with an eye-catching design, interesting LED lights, easy to use and a flip design.

Motorola has started the rage for flip phones with its Razr collection, so it is not unusual to see that the company is at it again. But because the phone falls in the affordable category, it lacks some of the most-wanted features these days: Wi-Fi and 3G. For those wanting simplicity, great design and a reasonable price, this Motorola mobile phone will definitely be on your liking.

Moreover, users who were very fond of the Razr edition will much appreciate this mobile phone, the thin design and the overall similar look. On the front of the headset is a flossy finish, which unfortunately attracts fingerprints, but it looks good on the overall aspect. And you will know when you are called or when you receive a new message, as a dot-matrix screen makes its appearance. On the bottom of the phone is a set of LEDs, which pulsate whenever you close and open the phone. They also flash whenever you receive a new call. It is pretty cool and most of you will find this interesting. Because most manufacturers these days are into touch screen phones, QWERTY keyboards and sliding headsets, the latest Motorola cell phone just wanted to be different and to bring up something from the past. Moreover, the keypad has a very nice feel, keys are very large and you will not even know when you have done typing the message. The display measures 2.4”, which is standard for phones in this range. But if you place it along some other phones, such as LG Optimus Black or Samsung Galaxy S, it looks very small indeed.

It is no reason to mention that there is no famous operating system here, Android or something, just the company’s proprietary one. These results in no applications, only Java-based games and other basic configuration options, such as a music player, Web browser that loads up pages slow and a 2 megapixels camera with decent photo quality and not so impressed video recording qualities. The internal memory is just 5MB, so you should get a microSD card in order to be able to take more pictures, to get music files and so on. Because the phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, you should really invest into expanding the memory, so you can listen to your songs all the time. You can also choose the FM radio and enjoy staying connected to the world. The battery life is long and you should not worry about draining if you use the phone in a lot of actions.

To conclude, if you don’t need a smartphone, you don’t want 3G or Wi-Fi, then Motorola Gleam is the mobile phone you can choose. Because users were accustomed to budget phones looking simple and unattractive, Motorola wants to break the standards and to offer great functionality, great design for a less investment.
